It’s a Meater+ wireless. I actually switched though to ARMEATOR bc the Meater+ kept disconnecting from the base and stopped working altogether. There isn’t much smoky flavor bc it cooks quickly at this time and time. If I want a smoky flavor in the steak, I’d do a reverse sear, but I prefer the steak flavor that I get with this method.
Looks absolutely delicious, thanks for sharing.
New friend here. 😊
Thank you so much!
good trick with the cast-iron 😘
Thank you 😉
Looks delicious 😊
Thank you!
Looks fantastic!
1. Is that a Thermoprobe wireless thermometer?
2. Is there less smoky flavor when using a skillet?

Did you put anything on the cast iron before putting it in? Butter, oil?
It’s a pretty well seasoned pan, so mine doesn’t need anything. Just the oil on the steak is enough.
@@fancyaproncooking Thank you! I wasn't sure, as it looked glistening! Nice work....doing this tonight for Mothers day. :)
That vegetable oil is horrible to put on anything
