Thank you everyone for your nice comments, they really mean a lot to me. I have loved doing this series with Blondie and Blondies mum and look forward to series 2 in China. BlondieinChina has always promoted positivity and tolerance, love and friendship. It’s been a real honour to be a small part of that. And of course the food has been delicious as well!! I miss my Blondie already 🥲
What a joy and privilege it has been for us all as a family to be able to share our food adventures with you all. It has an amazing experience for which I will be forever grateful ❤️
As an Anglo-Chinese bloke living in relatively cold, wet England, I can assure you that the joy and privilege has been mine & my family’s, and that watching you wonderful folks exploring all that fantastic looking cuisine.has helped sustain us through the last year of lockdown. You’re all amazing ambassadors for your country,. Hope I can some day check out some of those culinary delights if I ever manage to get down under. Best wishes
It's so beautiful to know that when you were little, your parents taught you about the world. Now that you've grown, you're teaching your parents new things!
This was my favourite RUclips series during the entire pandemic stay-at-home period even now. Thanks Amy for sharing you and your parents’ Chinese food adventure in Australia!
This series with your parents and guests have been pure gold. I have come to love your parents and I can see where you get your adventurous spirit. Your videos always end by making me feel good and smile. I cannot wait to go back to China to visit my son, his wife, and family in the Hunan province. Thank you for these wonderful videos❤️
Not gonna lie. I felt sad when you said goodbye to your Dad at the airport. I lost my Dad 11 years ago and seeing you and your family enjoy quality time while making these amusing videos have brightened up my day. Love how Mum and Dad have become more adventurous during this series and love their sense of humour. Wishing Blondie'sDad safe travels and he should set his own vlog or YT so we can share in his adventure,
I am surprised that Amy and her parents did not know about abalone. Australian abalones are highly regarded in other parts of the world. Until recently (before abalone aqua-farming), Australia, especially Tasmania, produced about 25% of world production. Recreational abalone fishing/diving is still popular in Tasmania. Today, Yumbah Aquaculture is the largest abalone producer in the Southern Hemisphere. BTW, abalone is called Paua by the Maoris in New Zealand. Paua shell jewelry is very popular in NZ.
Loved this series! Teared up and everything from dad leaving and soon enough you to China. Sending lots of good vibes to your family! Really been a pleasure to follow along and feel a part of it 💕
@@BlondieinChina It's been great for sure! I've not been able to head back to China myself in a long time (I used to study there) and I live vicariously through watching your content. Though; I must always make sure I've had food already because it's way too tempting. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Awwwww this has been the best series ever! I love every episode and love you and your parents! I love how you promote a culture that’s not your own so positively and all of you are so open minded about food from another culture. Your videos lift my spirits. Keep safe when travelling! We’ll miss your parents, hope we’ll see them again soon!
oh nooo! I already start missing your Dad, and soon your Mom! They are so nice and I really like the videos you filmed with your family :( but I look forward to seeing your new episodes in China!
An excellent series of food episodes! Strong finish to the series! Looking heaps forward to more of your great content on the mainland coming up! Absolutely great work by the family! Food on a stick is something to get stuck into. Also, surf and turf is now my middle name!
Really appreciate that feedback! I'm so glad you've enjoyed the series and are keen to continue watching my channel (even when my parents aren't in it anymore haha) xx
Thanks for sharing this! Your parents are so nice and I really enjoy all of the videos you posted! Looking forward to see more videos with your parents in the near future!
I've really enjoyed this series of videos. Thanks for sharing your family with all of us. Good luck to your dad and to you on your way back to China. Can't wait for those videos.
Awwwww i'm going to miss seeing your lovely parents in your videos and your family adventures together 😢 But maybe one day they can also go visit you when you are in China and have adventures together there too, That would be nice 😊
Waiting for your China's trip and hope it is better and more interesting when you visit more places and also hope that your China's programs can bring friendships between ordinary citizens of Australia and China. Good luck on your China trip.
Another mouthwatering experience! Two assumptions...a hotpot with five broths is called ‘The Olympics’ and those chicken feet will supercharge your Dad’s feet for his walk. :D
Thank you Amy , love your videos, especially the ones with your family. I’m a Chinese living in NZ, your video definitely makes me home sick, and miss the foods in China . I look forwards to more of your videos in oz and China
Your dad was the fun of videos. I am sad that he won't be in your video anymore.... :( Hope to see your family visiting China and eating together with you again soon!!!
It's been interesting to see how brilliant you have put this series together since your parents have joined, as your parents culinary journey from beginner to what they are today, it's kind of like the characters "mature" like in a drama series LOL
Sad to see the last of the mum and dad series but look forward to your new adventures in China . As an Asian, I can't say enough that your videos even put us to shame as the younger generation don't eat out with their parents often nowadays (however, we do eat at home that slot), even though family piety is a big thing amongst us.
I really enjoyed watching this series and I just wanted to say I’m so going to miss this! Your parents are so fun and easy going people! Looking forward for S2!
I started drooling watching this video. I miss chuan chuan! I had it is Leshan, Sichuan and really wish I could go back again. In times like this, what brings us together and build friendships are things do not require words. Food is one of those things! Thanks so much!
I was gonna say that 79cents for one bite of food is really expensive since Canadian dollars are at almost at a 1:1 ratio with Australian. But turns out your guy's min wage is so much higher! 😂 Ours is $14 and you guys are almost at $20 and $119 is pretty reasonable for 4 people lol. And it is so bittersweet that you guys are separating. Glad you guys will be doing your own things but sad that we won't see your parents for a while! Your parents are so cute together. They make a lovely combo. Dad's kinda silly (in the best way possible) and and mom is super refined and open minded. Love your family! Feel like I'm going to miss them 😂 something good that covid did is that it brought you guys together. Tell your dad to vlog his trip and show us Australia! ❤️
Love your videos with your family! Your mom is such a cool chick, never afraid to try anything. She's someone I'd want to be friends with. Your dad is super adorable, in looks and in personality. Proud that he went from feeling queasy about trying the "non-safe" foods to voluntarily choosing to eat chicken feet and intestines. Your sister is chill. Maybe that comes from being a vegan? (j/k). And you are awesome! Love your adventurousness, optimism, and humor. As a Chinese who moved abroad at a young age, I learned a lot about Chinese cuisine from your videos and will try some of the dishes when i visit China again. (And i learned that i can actually buy instant luosifen (something i'd always wanted to try) from the local grocery store.) Anyways, wishing you the best, and looking forward to more of your videos, including ones with your awesome family.
Hey Blondie, just came across your channel. Are you 李慧琳 in the Chinese Bridge? you were one of my favorite player. Nice to see you again on RUclips after so many years. Btw, you Chinese speaking has been much improved, great job and keep it up!

It's because of very friendly and China loving Australians like you and your whole family and Hazza that remind Chinese people to think of all the good things about Australia and its people when its politicians are saying crazy things about China. Thank you for all these videos about all sorts of signature Chinese cuisines that I haven't had a chance to try. 👍👏😋 and for those that I know (dim sum etc), you always managed to find authentic places in Australia to show the real stuff💪💪
There's just something magical about food that can bring people from different cultures together like this...maybe all politicians should be chefs and the world would be more harmonious.
Your father kind of reminds me of Wallice from Wallace and Grommet. When he said beefgasm and it's great while looking at the camera, just gave me a flashback of Wallace.
I can't get the background music off my head... Its like I am watching food on headline news update... And I am just waiting for some crazy announcement by blondie.

From all your tactful talks in the videos I can tell you are a lady of wisdom.
We need a Vlog for Blondie's Dad's walking trip!
Maybe, enjoying the trip comes first over vlogging
