In 1985-86, I along with others were sitting in Jeff's practice room. At BIT, Jeff would be in a practice room for designated hours where students could come and go at their leisure and either play along with or just listen to Jeff play and ask questions. I remember Jeff mentioning to everyone that he was not teacher in the classic sense (paraphrasing of coarse) but acted more like a coach in his role at BIT. I must say, that might have been true then but Jeff has become a very patient, kind, TRUTHFUL masterful Teacher. Thank you Jeff. You are giving to the world a taste of what it must have been like to attend your Players School.
I like how you ad legitimate vibrato of a fretted bass guitar to your art form. Such as classical guitar players. I can't name anyone else that does that.

Thanks so much, Jeff. You're one heck of a fine teacher. And you look just the guy that used to do that song ...
Love the way Mr. Berlin teaches.
This is great Jeff. A really disciplined and musical exercise in creating phrase.
Jeff,
You always come up with sound academic advice. This is a slick approach to learning Triads as well as learning the notes on the neck!
Thanks for the lesson Jeff. Great ideas.
Resolution. What a great teacher 🖖
Very helpful ideas, as always, Jeff! Thank you, and please stay safe!

Agreed... his vibrato on fretted is unmatched.
?&! Simplest thing since BC.. yet possibilities are still virtually endless. Interesting!
I hope I run into you sometime, Jeff (I'm in Nashville). Great stuff and I want to chat with someone about Holdsworth.
Moro no Brasil seria possível ter legenda, alguém pode fazer isso para nós músicos brasileiros, sou admirador do Jeff Berlim
Thanks Jeff..love these lessons, once again, great advice!!
This lit something in me. With respect to bass but also writing. Resolution. Have the answer.
Nice!
The video title is spelled wrong.
Thanks! Will fix. :-)
risoluzione in L'Italiano ... improvizazione
Jeff is too good and musically sound to be called a "bass player". We can stop the bass player jokes now.
