Thank you for this video - excellent work. I agree, I own the ASI Pro & Plus - centering up of objects is very close to Telescopius ( which I use for planning ).
Hi Ian, thanks for this video! I was scratching my head the other night wondering why my asi air plus wasn't framing as pictured on the device. Im gonna give the coordinates method a try to avoid future disappointment. 👍
My mount cannot be controlled in the dec and goto sets it to 00:00:00. So it cannot center and I will turn auto centering off on the mount. Can you tell me what happens when the mount is rotated to the ra but cannot be centered? Does it proceed with the plans imaging or does it just end or loop for ever trying to center. I would like it to continue with the imaging and not concerned with accuracy.

Do you have to polar Align the telescope?
