I don’t care what anybody says….fastest college player of all time. Screw your stats and times…even though he ran a 4.29 40 on a bad foot. Once the dude went north/south….it was just not even a question anymore. As a tOSU fan, I had the same “oh shit” feeling every time he touched the ball, as all of the opponents did. Every time you touched the ball, you just held your breath because you always knew you were about to be a witness to something unimaginable. The Minnesota return at 8:24 was still the one that shocked me the most. On their turf, look at the unabated speed differential to all of the other players…it’s simply inhuman. Brad Nessler And Bob Griese knew it was a TD by the time he reached the 20 yard line….his own 20 yard line. He wasn’t even trying….he kind of put his head down around the 35 to 45….then just cruised.

Not only was Ginn still adjusting to playing WR, but he also spent a large number of snaps breaking his stride to catch under-thrown passes.
Troy Smith played QB as good as he was able to, but he was also the product of great coaches, great system, and some of the best players in the country. (At the time)
Ginn wouldve been great for just about any college team, i dont think the same can be said for smith.
Anyhow being a ohio native, i remember seeing these guys in highschool, college, and the pros, and forgot how good they were.

@@joeyjet3031 no one has ever created dead even separation like teddy. not joey, not anyone. joey would either beat you off the snap, because he is absolutely a better receiver than teddy, or maintain pace during a sprint. teddy created 10-yard separations on a dead sprint and could juke you and be 10 yards to your right in a flash. i've never seen anyone like him still. you can say joey all you want and go off silly 40 times. teddy ran the 40 injured and speed doesn't stop because you name a distance. there are ZERO times i'd take joey over teddy in a footrace.
