This video was very helpful. I, like most, never enjoyed playing with the metronome, but was forced to by my classical piano teacher. I enjoyed your tip on the metronome increasing your mindfulness. Keep up the good work! 🎶🎹

Thank you for your kind words! The metronome is a helpful tool even though it’s not always fun.

Excellent reasons to use the metronome which I've tended to ignore. Emma please consider sometime doing a tutorial on inversions. You have a special knack for teaching and I know you'd explain them in a clear and easily understood way. I think your students, a little beyond beginning level, would truly appreciate your insights about that amazing technique.

I'm glad to hear that you found this helpful, Richard! Using the metronome isn't always fun, but it really can make one's playing so much better and it's absolutely worth the trouble.
As far as inversions go, I definitely can do a video on them in the future. If you want to watch something right away, I've talked about inversions for arpeggios here: ruclips.net/video/ZslnIXkoTBI/видео.html

Wow Emma! I am so glad I found your channel. Great videos and great tutorials. As an adult beginner I do get frustrated when I see I am not improving or I reach a plateau, which unfortunately, with me happens more often than not. This tutorial is a goldmine for me. Keep up the good work! Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your followers.
