How can I get this seat? Can't find it on Saddlemen's website! I'd love to have this exact seat with either blue or black stitching. I just bought the Blue & White Fast Johhnie - 2023 Low Rider ST and it would be perfect!

@FXDLSBrooklyn 09' fxd club style, wish I had n el-diablo...but just a lattice stitched step up seat, and the ol lady is begging to get a tour'r step up🤘
Easily becoming one of my favourite moto channels. Get excited when I see a new one pop up haha. Great video, trying to decides between the tour step up and the saddlmen explorer for my girl 😩. Personally like the slim look of the tour step up but feel like she would be more comfortable on the explorer. Happy wife happy life 😒hahaha.
Thanks man definitely appreciate the kind words! I’m always going to tell you to go with the touring step up always the explorer if you don’t want to sacrifice the geometry of a step up
My old Ironhead? While I was having the King and Queen seat redone to " Vintage" ( diamond tuck ) I used a crown royal bag filled with Dr. Scholl's shoes inserts.😆
I think it’s a great option for someone who is still with the stock seat and needs an upgrade for 2 passengers! Having already the regular step-up I prefered how it looked on the rear fender of my Street Bob but when I do long rides with the girlfriend there is a La Pera Maverick I got for real cheap at a sale. Thanks for the review!
The step up was, hands down, the best looking seat I ever had on my Dyna. On short rides it was very comfortable. However on rides over 600 miles in a day, especially when doing that distance repeatedly a few days in a row, the step up tore up my butt. I eventually had to get a proper touring seat that allowed me to tour up to 1,000 miles in a day.
I hear you man, I’ve always been able to get away with heavy mile days on the bike trips especially with my SDC pro, give it a try if you haven’t run it yet
I'm on the fence with a new seat, because I bought the new bike last Tuesday! I am inseam challenged, and the stock seat is a bit wide for me. Back and forth between Saddlemen and Le Pera.
I'm always going to tell you Saddlemen, but best thing to do is hit a local bike night or event - I feel like most people will let you throw a leg over to feel how a seat sits if you ask and you're in that dilemma
I went with the Lepera tail whip instead, as in my opinion it just looked better aesthetically . But!! The lip on the back doesn't quite line up with my sissy bar unfortunately. Still miles ahead of stock HD seat. For both of us. But I have bin eyeballing that saddle men. My ole lady's about 130lb
Is it worth it to get the backrest on the SDC pro? Clearly more lumbar support is always better.. but from some pics I’ve seen it looks like it pushes out further into the rider seat than the actually seat itself..
For me, I've always been able to get away without it - Especially since for long trips I typically run a sissy bar bag that doubles as a backrest/support - I haven't put any miles on the seat with the lumbar support, so can't say
If your girl likes the gel insert, why not order the Tour step up with the passenger gel insert? Or was that not always an option? It’s on their site now. So it seems like the tour step up with gel insert would be a major win
Again with the bike I never get tired of looking at. Furthermore I hate that you can tote the color of white. I'm a grease monkey and if I wear white dirt will literally jump 15 feet just to get on me. I'm envious you can have a relationship with white. The only relationship I've been able to have with the color white is cop cars, jumpsuits and the paper I sign for probation. Even then because I'm involved I'm smearing it with ink. Nope, me and white will never get along. Happy for you though.
@@FXDLSBrooklyn The paint I can understand and even live with. For me that white seat would get trashed just by me picking it up and trying to put on my bike.
Gel inserts with this seat plus tuck and roll = ultimate comfort.
Never actually ran a tucked seat, one day 🏁⚡️
It's nice to have options. Appreciate you my dude.
Thanks for making a product that has always supported the type of riding I do 🏆

The new step up touring seat is where its at🤘
Absolutely, I’m digging it - What are you currently running on the Diablo?

Absolutely - Glad they finally have the option and something in between - Thanks for checking it out man! 🏁⚡️
I knew I wasn't tripping when I saw the hot rod dyna with a white seat, nice to see the Step Up tour on a Dyna though.
Is that a vinyl or leather one?
Good eye man! They’re both vinyl which I for when we have to run through the rain - What are you running?
@@FXDLSBrooklyn I like leather and run a leather seat. I hope they make the tour step up in leather one day though!

Nice seat! On another subject, what boots are you using? They look nice and may help a vertically challenged guy like me on my RG. Thanks.
Those are made by Brunt, I actually did a video on these recently, I’ll link below:

@@FXDLSBrooklyn super! Thanks. Now u got me looking at the RWD for my FXLRS too.
I can't find this seat anywhere?
This should be on their site
Is the Touring Step-Up comfortable for daily trips out of town? Or is it more suitable for city trips?
I would say it could handle all of the above

I'm pretty sure the tour step up has the insert as well
@@FXDLSBrooklyn okay I wasn’t sure just thought I’d ask bc I know it’s an option on the tour not included like it is on the sdc step up
What sissy bar do you run?
Lot's of people run them I prefer my Corbin's
I would argue there’s a reason a lot of people run them - Not knocking other seat manufacturers, but give ‘em a try sometime if you haven’t

Strangely enough, it’s easier to keep it looking “presentable” with the white paint as opposed to when it was black gloss
