Just an fyi... the 12v cable is for using the tool only it will not charge the 20v battery ... you have to have the dewalt 20/12v chargers that plug into 110v for that
Thinking about these for tractor tyres. Do these release air as well to a desired pressure or only inflate? We move from 24psi for road work down to 10-15psi for field work so would be ideal if it did instead of an expensive kit per machine
This is how many tool makers are designing their power tools now. You're going to have to get used to it unless you want the cheap models with no batteries.
MegaTabetha yes. You are right. I’m trying a year of not buying any Chinese goods. It’s been tricky, and I’ve unwittingly slipped up once or twice, but it will be No Dewalt Inflator for me.
@@111macdruid111 NOTE: If the pressure rating for the item being inflated is above 100 psi, note that the maximum run time is 10 minutes. Leave to rest for 20 minutes before reusing. Above 100 psi !!! Above 100 psi !!!

ahh I see, that makes sense, thanks!
Very cool tool and not too expensive either. Thanks for this :)
Welcome : ) I was suprised at the price when I looked it up too!
I assume it’ll be faster if you jack the car up first?
psi is psi. it doesn't matter the load.

Can you use the 60V battery from DeWalt with this inflator?
It accepts flexvolt from what I have seen.
But the tool is designed for Dewalts 20V system, so unless that battery transforms down to 20V... Perhaps not
Yes you can just sits weird ... just lay it on it’s back when using thicker battery’s
@@FreeTimeFeats that's exactly what they do.
@@marknicholson6002 hey, good to know!
Has it lasted
I turned mine on and I ger Er 5 code. I connected it to my tire and I still get the same code.
Me too!
With lithium any of these devices will stand up to the expectations so it's a much more reliable product now
You can't charge the batteries in this device! Or didn't they change that in the newer generation?
You are correct...the unit will not charge the battery.

does it deflate tires too? I need it to deflate my tires when i'm off roading.
Just deflate them yourself
I believe it does inflate them....
Is it ok to leave a 4AH battery connected while not in use? Or take the battery off when not in use?
It's alright to leave it on
So better value? The 60v tanked compressor or this thing….
I'm wondering that too just for ties.
Where is the unit made?

@@panthercap You better check the parts in the items you kept. Guarantee there are Chinese made parts in it. Better go return all of it :)
Mine says made in Korea...

it works GREAT!
What’s blo it appears every minute
this only work with this baterry ? can anyone show how it works with a cord?
It also works off a 12v vehicle cigarette lighter outlet too. Which is handy if your Dewalt batteries depleted.

The cord is not for charging
Плохо что нет кейса к это штуке,она во время хранения в гараже будет собирать пыль-будь она в кейсе это было бы не страшно
Do they have a quick release tire valve chuck for this unit?
I wonder how big the battery is
It was a 5ah

helpful. thank you!
i was hoping to see a truck tire- like an 80 psi tire. probably take 20 minutes for that i suppose?
Per instructions this unit can only run for 10 minutes at a time with a 20-minute rest interval. Heat buildup is the issue.
@@111macdruid111 thank you for this information, really needed
