Danny, I want to thank you for demonstrating the proper technique for spinning the pressure setting dial. No one else whose review I consulted showed that it is necessary to spin past the maximum to get the unit to turn on. I was all set to return the unit with a note saying this was my first and last DeWalt tool until I came into the house and ran your review a second time.
I have this pump and love it. I use it for paddle board and our bikes and balls and mower, go cart etc. I’ve never used it for vehicles. One question, the dial around the play pause is my only issue. It Is sometimes difficult to get. A grip on it to spin it. Any line u would recommend to spray in there. I’m a diy-er at best and have no idea what to spray in that as it’s electrical and I assume plastic in plastic or something. Not the smoothest turn and difficult to get the fingertips in there an on that. Not bad on day one but it’s not easy now. Thx
I would say electronic switch cleaner would be the best to go down into the switch. You wouldn’t want to damage the switch with liquid or blow it apart with too much compressed air. I’ll have to see over time what I can come up with
Excellent video! Question: Do I need to perform a duty cycle on the unit to re-inflate my each of my 4 tires by 10 psi after driving on a gravel road? And if so, is that simply letting the unit run for 5 min and then rest for 5 minutes between tires? Thanks so much.
Really nice video brother, very detailed, thank you so much! Just a quick question about this unit, do you know if I have to let it cool down every couple of minutes of having it on? I had one of those from Amazon I can't even remember the brand, but that thing melted when I was trying to pump a small pool for my kids after 6-8 minutes. Thanks again bud!
Anybody run a battery adapter and a M18 Milwaukee battery. I like this unit but I'm all into the red tools. Sadly their inflator does not have the air mattress blower and vac. This unit will charge the dewalt 20v battery from the cigarette cord?

Is there any way to attach a blow gun to this compressor for dusting?

It is always a good idea to recheck the psi for any difference in road or weather conditions. The psi may also increase as the tire heats up

It hasn’t had trouble pumping up car tires that were all 10 psi low back to back. I imagine it would be fine
Thanks
Bought mine today

Its outlook, design and features indicated this is a replicate from an ages chinese air compressor. The air compressor were there for years already.
