Everyone always talk about the importance of community and relationships in the hobby. I feel like there is an overall positive vibe within collecting but how do you mentally prepare yourself to deal with some of the bad apples? My example is that I sold a Jason Tatum card on eBay on May 28 a day after the Celtics exciting game 6 win. A day later they lost the series and the buyer requested a refund, the card has dropped 35% in value from the purchase price. In my mind he has done this before because the claims the psa case was scratched to get around the eBay policies. Are there really that many bad apples and I should just prepare myself for more of this?

I used to go here often. Over 10 years ago, a dealer had TWO 2009 Bowman Draft Chrome Mike Trout RED Refractor BGS 9.5 Autographs. Trout was destroying the minors. I told the dealer he should sell one because they had gone up so much. 😅😂😅😂
I’ve been coming here since they had the previous smaller location in city of industry that had no a/c. During the summer was super hot haha. This is my go to for buying sealed hobby boxes. You stopped by Randall’s booth that has the Topps tennis box in the video. I buy alot from him. Awesome guy to deal with. Glad you enjoyed it.

Speaking of pops my most valuable one would have to be my original white ranger signed by Jason David Frank two years ago the pop was selling for like $700 now that he has died I’d say it has gone up in value due to the fact you can never have anything else signed by him
@@mojo_sports The setup was pretty much the same though the location was different and smaller, dirt/gravel parking lot. Great mix of boxes (sports, art cards). I even remember there being vendors that sold old McDonald happy meal toys. There was even a radio show that broadcasted from there and they would have autograph signings once in a while. Haven't lived in SoCal in about 20 years and just recently got back into the hobby thanks to you. Not a lot of card shops where I live now but trying to find some time to make it to the Dallas card show. Hopefully I'll get a chance to make it to the next one.
Dang, that place is nuts. The Jerry Rice auto looks legit but it's a pretty easy auto to fake. Best system and best game. That's a hard question to answer. I guess it'd have to be the PS1. Although nowadays, with the PC and steam it's crazy. Best game, maybe Super Tecmo Bowl. Not sure, that's a hard one. So many good games. I'm not sure if it's the best, but the opposite stands out as far as Seinfeld episodes go. I love custard filled donuts.
I have a question Mojo. I bought autograph tickets for the national and it was to get something signed by the player but when they sign the item do I also get to take a picture with them because it didn’t say it in the description

1999 Upper Deck Super Bowl XXXIII #23 Jerry Rice card is a printed auto. It looks real on the card because its so dark but its a print.
