Every single part on a 59 can be verified by an LP expert like Mike Hickey or Bonamassa. It's astounding how well some people have gotten at being 100% money on spottng these.
Man. when JPs heavy fuzz riff hit back in the day, listening to this when it dropped...It was one of the things that hooked me on guitar. Goose bumps. Fantastic job here, Nate. Appreciate it!
ummmm HOLY SH!T That was the most incredible rendition of No Quarter I have ever heard. That 59' is exquisite! Incredible tone. I was waiting for the break ... and felt cheated Nathaniel.... Lets hear the whole song... PLEASE Thanks fro sharing the music Matt Hudaon Valley NY I just had to listen to it again Im in awe
So I drop by to hear Nathaniel and instead of saying thanks to him and my guitar heaven, CME, I go off on a tangent and start bustin chops. LOL, hello Team CME and Nathaniel. Thanks for the awesome upload. That 59 is a real cool looking one to me. Nathaniel can make any guitar sound like a million dollar guitar, but this one did have that awesome 59 LP signature tone IMO. I hope y'all have a great and safe weekend. Cheers
Sublime playing, fantastic interpretation and arrangement - on a clearly special guitar. Needs a shout out to that Magnatone Twighlighter that presented the playing and sounds to us so beautifully
I don't know how much work was done to this post, but it sounds better than the original. It's mind blowing how good these come out from a sound quality perspective. Awesome playing. Much respect.
I've seen some cats on here that really pull some trickery with overdubs and edits. They are nowhere near as good in person. Technology is so advanced anymore.
Pagey was indeed sloppy. But like I tell my students, you don't work music, you play music. You can be mechanically perfect, but if that feeling is not there, it falls flat. Pagey was an organic player with melodic leads like nobody else. And cat could write a riff.
he was and is sloppy. as was hendrix. that didn't stop them from making great, albeit sloppy, art. it is okay for art to be sloppy, as long as it does so gracefully.
@@jeffmurdock8321 YEAH , I get how people say sloppy , but it is more in his playing style . .everyone can be perfect in studio . .but live trying to cover your own songs that have 5 guitar tracks can be a bit challenging as well . . i dont think the jack daniels helped much . .it helped me , not care . . lol
@@jimmyhartman573 I totally agree with you guys. Music connects with us on a human level, we want that humanity in the music. I loved when Page would hit a bum note, like in The Rover where he bumps strings by accident. I love hearing Bonzo's drum pedal squeak on the tracks. The Mamas & Papas song I Saw Her Again has the greatest mistake of all time (A lyric was punched in too early) and it's beloved. Sir Paul said the effect was so good, it had to be a lucky mistake, no one could be that clever.
The clean components were very nice. I'm not sure any other 'quality' and well prepared Les Paul would be much different. But once he enters the addition of pedals, gain, and distortion then it doesn't matter what guitar he's playing. He's playing the pedals and the distortion effects. No more. All the hysteria about the 1959 Les Paul go out the window. Just my opinion....no more no less.

Yes, Indeed.
Welcome back to Nathaniel’s Music Exchange.
Great cover dude.
AMEN! 🤘🤘
Best clean tone I've ever heard out of a LP. But not that surprising given that Nathaniel can make any guitar sound incredible
John Paul Jones' masterpiece performed by the great Nathaniel Murphy.
That was 3 minutes well spent. Thanks
Les Paul clean tones are underrated!
One of my favourite guitar players, playing one of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs on one of my favourite guitars .....
I don't remember the name
Nathaniel Murphy is definitely a Guitar God!
For only 150-odd Les Pauls having been made in 1959, they keep turning up!

More like 650 were made in ‘59.
@@jamesthe-doctor8981literally went to fact check myself and find the real number before I informed the op and when I came back you had done it😂
Haha right???
I thought Joe Bonamassa owned all of them...
Such a pleasure to watch/hear Nathaniel play these amazing guitars with such stunning skill and innovation.
Even with the distortion and pitch shifting, you can tell the middle position on that thing is just delicious!! Really nice demo!

awesome playing, tones, guitar and killer drums. I just find the stereo effect on the guitar a little of putting for my ears.
Brillaint on so many levels !!!
🤘🤘 Thank you!!
I want to know what Pagey thinks of this. It was simply beautiful!!
Hope he would like it! 🤘🤘
Very fine intonation -yes Gibson is the best. I would have guessed you went for the Fender/Rhodes sound, but this too works.
Brilliant!! nate the Great
Of the 1800 or so of 58 LPs made, 3000 are known to have survived.
great job !

All those idiots say Jimmy Page is sloppy… Dude is a damn genius…
People who say Page was sloppy are inferior as a human beings . . He was/is a creative genius

It does look like when I reach down for the gearshift in an automatic. LOL I think he did bend the neck a bit tho to get some tremolo.
The thing is Nathaniel seems too much a nice guy for selling his soul to the devil
