Dan I'm disabled stuck in a bedroom 20 hours a day. I taught people to be professional big rig driver's in the U.S. now I want to thank you for allowing me to see beautiful places again . I love the beach scene rocks. Maybe I'll save enough to buy one soon. Thank you sincerely from the heart Craig
Thank you for training the Next generation that will deliver all of our goods foods and needs from one part of the country to the other....#FRONTLINEHEROS!
As a heavy highway construction worker I want to tip my hard hat to you sir because without you and others like you we wouldn’t have the materials to build the bridges I build!!
It started about 40 years ago, we were camping at Emory creek camp ground. (Love that camp ground. I learned to pan gold there. My kids loved the garnets. We had a lot more fun camping and panning and slushing on the Fraser river. I am 81 now and its harder to get out. Love Your videos thanks.
A trowel is about the only tool you'll need to find them. Loose soil is the best to search through for them, especially sand, sand fulgurites are the most sought after.
Also, mad respect for you being kind to the claim jumpers. They aren't going to take more than 5 or 6 bucks in gold anyways so it was cool to see you asking for respect but still working with them.
Yeah I actually found Dan through one of his lectures rather than his usual content, and I'm genuinely jealous of the students in the videos, I would love him to have been my teacher in real life but at least he's teaching me through RUclips I guess
Thanks Dan for this video this morning, my phone had all negative news about everything 1st thing this morning, and then you alls video is up. Way better!! Love my prospecting family!
Man a cliffhanger, I love cliffhangers Dan! Nice work, great to the next generation of prospectors getting into it as well, can't wait to see the cleanup and I hope you're all doing well!
The pump's carb is slightly gummed up from old fuel and/or ethanol. Run some seafoam the next few times in the gas tank and also store it with seafoam or run it 100% dry. Only use chevron 94oct non ethanol fuel and should clear up. If not, clean the jets in the carb.
Looking forward to your video on the Gold Drop. Harnessing the power of physics, fluid dynamics and your knowledge of geology is a dangerous combination Dan! Should be some great content.
Nice did anyone see the train roll by that was an awesome recording of train going by thru the tunnel in mountain .......I would totally move to BC just to be around such humble people ....your heart reflects the people who u hang out with and I truly believe in order to have more awesome hearts we need big crowds of awesome hearts 🥰🥰
I love the way you were with the youngsters. I don't know how to find gold. I have been been in the swamps and woods for most of my life and am trying my best to pass on my knowledge to my grandkids. Keep on helping the young.
I have to say, your intro was AWESOME! That was some of the coolest drone shots yet! You gotta get Pauly on that exposed bedrock. Sure to have a tons of little pickers. Another 10/10 vid....
Another great video with DAN HURD & Pioneer Pauly. Love all the information you share with your subscribers. Nice to see some younger people helping and doing the grunt work.
Pauly! We're behind you! It will get easier but always remember to never give up! You'll be back at it in no time! In the meantime, we still enjoy your content (and Dan's, of course)
I have to say your very addicting! I'm going to Hogg Mine in Georgia, USA this year for my birthday, not for gold but for stones. Your videos make me so excited to go now!
Hey Dan for an idea find yourself a rubber mat that's as long as you're sluice and as wide as your sluice I just started doing this stuff and I had a roll of rubber matting and I used it after I realized my sluice was sinking worked out great.
This guy was a teacher of mine in high school. He taught a class called "Medieval armory" where we made chainmail armor and medieval style helmets and stuff. Probably the coolest and nicest teacher in the school and everyone loved him. He also taught Gold panning so this is really cool to see
When you start finding gold do you try to chase the path it came from? I'm pretty sure the small stuff would make it down. Would a bigger rock get suck as it finds its way to the bottom?
Thanks for explaining a lot of the rules. A placer miner once told me that if you're just hand panning, you don't have to worry about whether you're on a claim or not. Seems to me like that's still kind of claim jumping and not too ethical, but was wondering what the actual regulations are.
I truly hope Pauly doesn't have some PTSD from his scuba incident and that's the circumstances that he's not sniping, love both your guys videos, good luck and thank you for the information you provide.
Canadian Pacific thanks you for the free air time and thank you for the easy rail fanning. That black sand issue you talk about is situation normal for us great lakes miners..
A surging engine typically means the idle circuit in the carb is plugged and it is running at least partially on the high speed circuit. Fix is to disassemble the carb and clean it well. Might as also pay to clean the fuel tank and lines too.
Wow is it ever calm through there when you were filming. I remember White water rafting right through there to the frazer. Good luck and hope you find lots of gold! Love your show!
I understand Pauly's frustration with that amount of black sand. I was prospecting along the St. Joe river here in northern Idaho using a 15" supersluice. Starting with the pan about 1" full from the top by the time I got the gravels and blonde sands out I would be left with 2~3 cups of garnet sand and I swear to Pete that stuff is heavier than lead. I'm still recovering from a stroke so it wore me out pretty quick.
I actually really enjoyed the group digs. Do more videos like this please? Dan not digging and working the camera actually works really well for the the production of the channel. Think on it.
That surging of the pump could be a clogged injector pin. Throw some 91 octane gas and 1/8 of a bottle of seafoam in the tank and it should clear up. Then put the rest of the bottle in all your motors.. 1/8 in the lawnmower, 1/2 in the truck.. it's a wonder liquid, you'll feel a difference in your vehicles.
I really would like to see the whole process of you contravention. I have to find some place in Montana I can take the grands to try out panning for gold. They come up every summer and the group grows bigger ever year. Last year I took them to Gem Mountain by Anaconda and Philipsburg Montana and they had a lot of fun. The more I watch your videos the more I think they will like learning to pan for gold.
Only found your channel this week and I'm working my way through every video. I'm so sad that I live in the UK and we don't have the same sort of opportunities to get out there and find stuff 🥺
Wow nice to see you all dan hurd and pauly and also some people back on camera. Did you know i will joind your digging their to find and picking gold!😊 how to go there without visa travel.😄 always keep safe to everyone and enjoy to explore your day activity!😊
Can't wait to see the cleanup on that. Is that the actual next video? Haven't seen anything like that picture you showed of the separator before. Looking forward to it. I really love your videos. Thanks for making them.
Great day out that’s exactly how lynx creek is here in Prescott az tons of black sand with super small gold can’t wait for the gold drop review I’ve witnessed it before and it’s a great machine thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
Thank you for training the new generation of a nation's blood and backbone, sad to hear you're bedridden in your current day.
Thank you for training the Next generation that will deliver all of our goods foods and needs from one part of the country to the other....#FRONTLINEHEROS!
If we don't have truck drivers...we don't have a country...
Same, enjoy these videos, can't do this anymore. To bad they can't put the smell in. Miss that!
As a heavy highway construction worker I want to tip my hard hat to you sir because without you and others like you we wouldn’t have the materials to build the bridges I build!!
Dude... this is awesome!!! And it's mostly bc of you!!! I watch and watch and watch and it never gets old. You da man!!!!
My favorite 3 youtubers, Dan Hurd, Pioneer Pauly and the Gridlessness group. Great to see. The BC All Star team!!
I wonder how Pauly and Dan would get on with Mark and Krissy from outback gold fever
Living vicariously through the videos of Dan and Pauly because there’s no gold in my area of the country!!! Thanks guys!
Look for Fulgurites then, they're created when lightening strikes the ground and fuses the soil together. They're actually sought after by collectors.
A trowel is about the only tool you'll need to find them. Loose soil is the best to search through for them, especially sand, sand fulgurites are the most sought after.
Same here
I hear yah man, i live in South Florida, the only gold you can find here is hundreds of years old and rarely washes up on beaches xD
u can always buy pre loaded packs of gold . and pan them.
Also, mad respect for you being kind to the claim jumpers. They aren't going to take more than 5 or 6 bucks in gold anyways so it was cool to see you asking for respect but still working with them.
Love to see you using your natural ability as a teacher, sharing knowledge with the team out with you and also with us in our armchairs
Yeah I actually found Dan through one of his lectures rather than his usual content, and I'm genuinely jealous of the students in the videos, I would love him to have been my teacher in real life but at least he's teaching me through RUclips I guess
I have to say Dan, I'm loving the intros with the drone shots of traveling to the site and around the claims! More please :D
Agreed, nice music too!
Thanks Dan for this video this morning, my phone had all negative news about everything 1st thing this morning, and then you alls video is up. Way better!! Love my prospecting family!
Awesome and great video. Love them all!! Thank you for sharing them with us Dan.
Thanks Dan, Pauly & crew. Looks like a good day, looking forward to next video to see what you got for the day.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you Dan. Nice adventure 👍👍👊
Poor Pauly, I haven't been swimming since a similar thing happened to me. I hope it doesn't hold him back when he's ready to dive again
Awesome getting all those folks out there, will send more prayers for your healing
0:00 wow ! this shot is amazing !
I would love having a friends like dan too teach me. I am having a rough time learning on my own but i enjoy it a bunch!
Man a cliffhanger, I love cliffhangers Dan! Nice work, great to the next generation of prospectors getting into it as well, can't wait to see the cleanup and I hope you're all doing well!
No one likes a cliffhanger don't lie. I need closure in my life 😭
Dan, honest people like you are hard to find on the internet. Thanks for being honest!
I really appreciate the way you explain how you're following BC regs and WHY they're there to begin with.
Look forward to the gold drop results...
Us too!

I am a total newbie, but i feel i have learned lot from Dan. Thank you. I'm looking forward to many more vids. :D
Everyone who helps Dan is a Rock Star!!

They have been great help

Hey Dan for an idea find yourself a rubber mat that's as long as you're sluice and as wide as your sluice I just started doing this stuff and I had a roll of rubber matting and I used it after I realized my sluice was sinking worked out great.

Yeah, for me its kinda like fishing too close to someone else. It may not matter a whole lot, but it can be considered rude.
Best video yet. What a great group having fun!!
I'm new here and love your videos man, even bought a gold pan to try my luck in the non gold producing hills of leicestershire. Why not.
What a great show, seeing everyone working together. Good job all!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I truly hope Pauly doesn't have some PTSD from his scuba incident and that's the circumstances that he's not sniping, love both your guys videos, good luck and thank you for the information you provide.

Gold digging and rail fanning. Pure pleasure.
Canadian Pacific thanks you for the free air time and thank you for the easy rail fanning. That black sand issue you talk about is situation normal for us great lakes miners..

I know little to nothing about gold mining but dan is really making me intrested in it hes a fun guy to learn from

Dan not digging and working the camera actually works really well for the the production of the channel.

Ive been a fan of the Golddrop for awhile, it seems like a great invention.
its been 4 years since i put a pan in the water. I went and did it yesterday but I did find anything. Your a lucky man Dan
Thats pretty close to where i live! Awesome spot dan
You be careful Dan, don’t over do it!!
sometimes them pumps just get gunk in them and you have to take them apart and clean them and make sure everything is airtight when closing back up.
Poly may be the future gold mining ⛏️ champion 🏆
