Christi all of your recipes look amazing and I love watching you cook. I’ve been watching all of your shows with Brooks. God bless you both. Keep up the great work 👍👍❤️❤️
Christi, thanks for the link! It just so happens I have an 8" pan of leftover chicken and dressing in the freezer I need to use, leftover from Easter. I make my dressing just like that with the exception of the slap your mama. I'll just thaw it out, saute my squash with a little butter and a little slap your momma, mix it in and give it a try! I bet it's delicious! All I've ever made is squash casserole with the onions, eggs, cheese, ritz cracker, etc. Which is good, but I know this is gonna be awesome! Thanks again!
You truly are a woman of God, encouraging us to turn to Him when you yourself have experienced personal loss and pain. I never thought I would get over losing Chris and after 25 years I was convinced that that my loss would haunt me forever. There is something to be said, though, in talking to God -- it sounds corny, but it's true. I have begun to believe that maybe, just maybe, He does listen. Now to answer a question: no, I certainly don't peel my celery! Why on earth would anyone want to do that? You're also really quite the cook. You act so naturally in the kitchen, whereas I am completely lost in a kitchen. By the way, it's STUFFING in Ottawa, but I really like the compromise expression you and Brooks have come up with: DREFFING. That's hilarious! And yes, I wish I could smell your creation, it looks SO good. Cheers.
Karen thank you so much for the encouraging words. It means a lot to me. Talking to God and His comfort is what gets us through the day. Everyone experiences loss and yes grief is hard and it’s never the same for anyone. But if you can turn that into an opportunity to minister to others, then that’s a blessing. God bless you and we pray you have a great day ❤️
Looks scrumptious! I appreciate your encouraging thoughts about walking closer with the Lord.
3 of my favorite things... The Lord, squash, and dressing.. ❤️
Amen sister! Thanks for watching!
