yea so true.
Our class did so bad in the electricity mock so our teacher's making us redo the test. Good thing this video came up in time, thanks Sir

For someone who got a 9 at gcse and predicted an A* in physics a level,
I wholeheartedly say this is the best video for understanding electricity. He makes it so simple to understand and the same principles can be used in further topics like capacitors etc.
Great video!
How did you do it at A level physics? I also got a 9 at GSCE but am stuck at a C in A level and cant wrap my head around electrcity
@@affanitez2744 only just seen this, still doing physics a level. Which part specifically are you unsure on.
Obviously there are some tricky topic like potential dividers but most electricity it’s generally the same.
how do you practice? Also what tips do you have for revising physics over all?@@grintzz6728
@@grintzz6728 im doing my gcse's this year, do u have any tips for a level physics? (which I chose for my options)
@@penguinysquad if you’ve not been told this by now, Physics and maths tutor past paper questions, do as many as possible. Look through examiner reports on ur exam board website to see where people commonly go wrong. I used Seneca learning a lot to learn the content, but make sure you are comfortable with all calculations and equations and you’ll smash it!
This channel has truly been a remarkable find! I'm so grateful for coming across it
Helped clear up a lot, really well explained video. Cheers!
Absolute life saver man! People like u deserve awards!!

you are my goat, without you i don't what i would be doing, thank you brother.
Physics was so easy until we reached this topic
Fr😭
after this everything went by a flash i was so confused in electricity that i was so depressed why am i not getting the grade i desire but now in just a month we have our exams and i hope we all do well in it!
hopefully we all do good i am so scared for bio p2 😢😭😢@@ItzGuavs

3:24 here since you know there are 2 resistors in parallel you could just work out the resistance by working out the total resistance from V/I then use the parallel circuit resistance formula to get 60
This is the best video that explains a lot.Amazing
Cannot express how helpful this was, cleared up so many concepts I wasn't sure about (electricity is by far my worst topic)
this video saved my life for electricity, i am ready for tomorrow's exam thanks to you!
had my theory paper yesterday and now i come acrosss thissss great vid btw
Hi thank you soo much for the video!! could you make a video involving variable resistors which involves temp, length, and light intensity relating to ohms law, K's 1st & 2nd Law.
i have my igcse physics theory in a hour, thank you for the clearup!!

your doing great job. please upload as many videos covering a level physics. i do OCR btw. but yeah your videos are great and we need more of them. im in first year.

saving my day sir!!!! mock in 4days and now I'm saved!!!
thank you very much you're really helpful
you are a life saver, tysm
Wonderful explanation
THANK YOU SOO MUCHHH 😭😭
The first question was pretty easy. I solved it like this
Here 6 V is the voltage of whole circuit and as it is in series I used the V = V1 + V2 formula
Here, V2 is unknown and total V is here in question
Hence, 6 = 2 + x
6-2 = 4V
Bro is a lifesaver 😭🙌🏻
i took A level electronics after hating this topic at gcse phy, its now my favorite subject and im looking at it for a career. electronics is nice a simple (ish, it gets much harder) once you get to grips with it and especially the basics. i also take A level phy and this makes it really nice to have the understanding if this topic in a much higher level than you need for physics. great video too btw
Hey, can you please give tips or some study material for as level electricity as i am finding it very difficult. General tips or maybe some short playlist will help as i only have 2 days until exams.
@@shaheeralam1095 I'm doing my gcse's right now but I have a general tip , make summary sheets on each topic and it needs to be 2 pages max! then revise the sheet for 15 ish minutes and then just practice exam q's , take a good break and then just carry on w the rest of the topics. Dude I love your voice
There are many other electricity topic like drift v and Kirchoff 2nd laws usage and first law and like wheat stone 😅 those are the hard ones
Drift velocity isn't really electricity.
And K's 2nd law is just total V is shared!
6:24 a beasty bulb... Lol
Remind me of This video next year plz
Great Video. Can you do the same thing but for waves instead i find waves much harder than electricity

How to differentiate between series and parallel circuits
very nice indeed
Uranium is a good alternative to Cereal
amazing video 🩷
For the seccond question with the two resistors in parallel, why didn't you add the resistances by 1 Over (1/R) when calculating current?
You only use the 1/R thing when finding a sum of the resistors that are in parallel, in this case though, he is finding a singular resistor by using the voltage across it and the current laws. You don’t need to use the 1/R law when doikg calculations across a component
outstanding
THANK YOU DEAR KIND RANDOM PERSON
Electricity - filament lamp. If one uses a dc supply, why does the filament lamp graph show negative values - surely it should just start from the origin? The same applies to the other graphs, why are there negative values if you use dc current?
Because the current can be reversed.
Came right before a term exam... im scared to do that test although i got im confident in everythin.. wish me luck!
Uss bro😅
Your voice is very seductive
Does anyone have a link where I can get a list of questions?
Sorry to bother, does anyone know how to calculate the total voltage after we find the total resistance? It's the only thing that's left unclear to me.
could you remake this video whenever you can?
I love your videos and watch almost all of them but i seem to understand better with your new video formats...
Thanks
Actually electricity and magnetism just like organic chemistry,we need know the flow well in more imaginary based basic concept, just electricity and magnetism is more confusing and organic chemistry need more smart memorisation
For the last question how is the total resistance 2.4 ohms when the two resistances that you labelled is 4V and 6V surely the total resistance would just be 10ohms or have I missed a step? Thanks so much
The total resistance is not R1+R2. It is 1/R1+1/R2. Here is the time stamp- 9:20
Are you doing this for all topics? Please do
can someone answer this please why when looking at video's on learning kirchoffs law there is only resistors in the examples
Because it's easy to understand with resistors and they're simple.
Although capacitors work the same, but with the exact inverse addition of series and parallel combinations.
is there a way to burn V=IR into my brain so I see it whenever I close my eyes? Sort of like PTSD but for physics equations?
So you can remember PTSD but not V=IR?! 😅
That’s a VIRy good question
VIR kinda like the sound effect of, let’s say, a fan in comics
*VIRRRRRR*
LETS GOO
Your voice 😍😍
🤯 literally
i need a vidio that explain the deep meaning of voltage ( can some one help me pls)
what about when they mix series and parallel
You deal with the parallel circuit first, then series
electricity is one of the easiest chap when you are finally able to understand it,people lose marks because they make sillyy mistakes even after they knew the answer(crying in the corner :')
God bless.
How to find voltage of batteries in parallel??
It's just the voltage of one of them...
@@ScienceShorts thanks...

Hi I didn’t understand how it turned 0.17A 4:24
It is because the current got divided into two branches, one carrying 0.33A so the other must carry 0.5-0.33= 0.17A.
Hope it helped
is this of cie syllabus
All.
What if im bad at sudoku as well
