Really helpful. The spring was very stiff and it took me a number of tries to get the cocking piece on. The little spacer tool is super helpful. Thanks for this great video!

So it looks like that spacer or “one cent” piece is not really needed. You still have to depress the spring to turn the collar and release the pressure of the firing pin spring…

Since you didn’t have to struggle to press the spring to assemble (or disassemble) I think you need a new, stronger spring. Or you are a helleva lot stronger than I am….

Props for the instructional but Dude...soooo much oil on every piece of that bolt. Reminds me of every gun owned by my FIL

At 2:35 you called the spacer a “penny”. I thought you said you don’t call it that, but a “one cent” piece? Let me guess, you’re Sister is named Penny!

I should try to find one of those silver pieces before I go tearing mine down. But I know I have too, there's a bunch of sludge and greenish/brownish gunk inside of the Bolt coating the spring/pin and extractor.

You can use a coin you just have to be careful to not nudge it out of place while the bolt is out of the gun

If you are taking the bolt out of the receiver, wouldn’t showing it to be unloaded kind of a MOOT point? Wouldn’t the act of taking the bolt out eject any cartridge in the chamber? Stop giving in to the “Safety Nazis“! It’s not like you’re going to shoot them through the screen…

WHY are you working on this on a leather or fake leather Recliner? Won’t your Mom get mad for putting oil on her furniture?
