We are having that issue. We have a 2020 3500 and my trailer has ALWAYS WORKED, I only have brake and turning signals. No Running or inside loading lights. Lights work perfectly fine in a friends older truck. I already have a appointment with our personal mechanic . Thank you for your post
I have both a 20 and 24 2500 AT4 2500s. On both the running lights come on then go off. You can hear a click in the back of the truck behind the bumper. On the 24 the left brake light stays on on the trailer but not the truck. Dealer said a short in trailer control module and had to order it. Fuse 82 is good. Should I replace both trailer control modules?
Same thing over here, i have running lights and left side tail light of triler brighter than right side with no actions to brake or turn signal on both tail lights , did you fixed it?
I got a 2019 just replace the module but I’m not getting power to the trailer lamp fuse under the hood when I plug the trailer I get everything but running lights by the fuses not getting power under the hood remind u that the fuses are good could that be a relay or something
I’m having the same problem with a new trailer I just bought. I have a few other trailers but they have bullet led lights and this new one has the 5 leds in one light. There are about 19 of these lights that are definitely drawing more amps even thought they are still led’s. My other trailer lights were good. It’s just wanna hook up to this trailer with all these extra lights. Are you hooking up to a Trailer with incandescent lights or a lot of LED lights? My running lights are the only thing that doesn’t work. Turn signals, brake lights, and flashers all worked just fine. Just a running lamps. The dealership just change my trailer lamp module yesterday and still the same thing. They didn’t go further as Mr. Dave is explaining. Going to show them this video tomorrow.
@@happy0071982 hey I just bought a trailer control module for my truck it’s 150 at the dealer it’s on the right side of the spare tire it controls ur lights so I bought one and now I have lights but no running lights from what I hear is that the dealer has to program them in order for them to all work I guess
@@adventurer101guide8 Did u check it with a test light with the fuse out I did that to mine and I didn’t have power but I changed the module I get power to everything but the running lights took it to a trailer place to see what the issue could be and couldn’t find anything just said may have to go to the dealer to get the module reprogrammed
Just bought 2024 Silverado 2500 HD. No power to the 4 pin connector. Dealer says everything is working. 7 pin connector works. 4 pin does not. This cant be right?

i had the fuse #74 burned. i saw some comments that the #82 should be the trouble. those two fuses cause the same problem it seems.
I’ve tried maybe it’s the ground to the trailer hitch I’ll have to hook up to the trailer and find out I’ll do it over the weekend
