Unknowingly got her when I first started the game, while checking wishing system. Thought her as another amber, but once I built her, she became my main dps. Pretty satisfied.
I was pulling on every banner when she came out, got her 3 wishes after C1 ayaka, I’m glad I pulled for her at the time, shes really fun to play so I’m getting her bow for her
Had some pretty insane luck pulled yoimiya then pulled her thundering pulse went back to the character banner pulled her again so now she is c 1 probably gonna go for a c2 yoimiya for the extra Pyro damage ticks

Special Mention: 4pc. Noblesse C4 HP-Scaling Yanfei as a shielder is also effective when you want to avoid using Thoma or Xinyan for that *yummy Pyro Resonance* for Yoimiya alongside using other Sub-DPS or Support characters like Xingqiu & Yun Jin. Yanfei can also use TTDS to buff Yoimiya, Favonius Codex for some extra battery for the team (only if the team has energy deficiency and if Yanfei has low ER as well), or Prototype Amber for additional healing capability & energy refund (especially at high refinements).
I tried using her as a Shielder and she buffs a lot more than zhongli with thrilling tales but her shield is so weak I had to scrap the idea of using her and stick with zhongli even if I focus on burst with zhongli he still has a better shield Have u tried it? Maybe I just built wrong

I have 284 wishes for her and Thundering Pulse at the moment, but this is the first banner I actually feel nervous. Even with this huge amount of wishes I'm not even close to being guaranteed! The only way to get both is to either win my first ever 50/50, or I'd need to get Thundering Pulse before I get the 2 Fate points

Fischl is my favourite character in the game, she’s got my fav character design, my favourite personality and backstory but most of all she works so well with a vast majority of other characters, in my opinion she works so well in way more teams than any other character.

This series is insanely helpful. I find myself zoning out over character builds I already know, or I’ll just skip to the information I am looking for. But this is fantastic information in every area. For the highlighted character, this series becomes enlightening.
My personal favorite Yoi team is an overvape comp with Zhongli, Yelan and c6 Fischl. Not ideal for large group fights but great for shredding bosses and high HP targets like Ruin enemies in abyss. Though you can get a bit of AOE and minor grouping with Yelan.

One thing I have found really nice is building Elemental Mastery on Raiden with my Yoimiya. Since Raiden's elemental skill procs on damage dealt, it makes it so that it is always Raiden that will be triggering the overloads, so it will always use her EM stat. I build my Raiden with ~900 EM and her overloads hit for 15-20k damage in an AoE. It gives Yoimiya the AoE she is lacking and is really fun to juggle enemies with.
I was gonna do this but I felt like I wasnt sure what to do with Raiden past that point. If you bring Raiden out and use her full burst then she is going to fight with Yoimiya over the sub dps on the team only likely giving one of them shared uptime. The other conclusion would be you use Raidens burst for the initial hit and then just swap. It seems fun and you don't have to deal with Oz being too far away but my initial experimenting with it felt kinda wonky.
@@ARAVINDDIPSY Yoimiya's will for the most part. The first hit or so may be Yelan getting a vaporize reaction, but after that, Yelan will put out so much hydro that Yoimiya will be the one getting all of the vaporizes afterwards.

I mostly play Yoimiya Yelan Fischl Zhongli. I just love explosions from overload and electrocharge. Also 3 bow users. Works great for bosses. And very easy to play.
Another alternative for kazuha is jean, she also can run verdant and freedom sword, and provides an attack speed buff with a constellation as well as healing

I've used a single-target focused overvape team with Xingqiu, Fischl and Yun Jin, with 4 pc TotM on Fischl to get extra atk buff on Yoimiya, it's actually really fun and shreds bosses lol
Double hydro is my team, one thing to add is that it does have yelans skill for some AOE so although it's weak for AOE in abyss it is covered enough for the overworld especially with kaza instead of zhongli for exploration.
Eyy the video I was waiting for, Yoimiya has been one of my main 3 dps characters for a solid year - I really like that she's fairly flexible with her team compositions. I've also been playing overvape for Yoimiya, it helps a lot with her aoe as well Probably going to try to pick up my last two missing constellations for Yun Jin

Already prefarmed, SUPER stoked for her run. Definitely giving the Overvape a shot, as I neither have Zhongli nor Yunjin. Really hoped for the latter to be on her banner again but oh well, it is what it is-now I get to play her with my BAEdou, which is even better!
A Yoimiya team that i enjoyed recently is a team with yoimiya, beidou, kazuha and thoma. i know it isn´t optimised to perfection but it is quite fun to play especially bc you have your bursts up nearly all the time + it is a combo (nearly) everbody has with thoma and kazuha on this banner and yoimiya on the next.

Not F2P friendly but Yoimiya / C2 Jean / Bennett / C6 Yun Jin comp is also good (and fun) for Mono Pyro! It makes her a machine gun because of the attack speed buff by Yun Jean.
Ive built Yoimiya as a purely pyro dmg dealer. She has 4 piece witch of flames and R4 rust. She’s lvl 80 with all lvl 7 talents. I run her with Mona c1, Baizhu for elemental reactions and Kazuha for crowd control. With Mona and Baizhu interacting I get dendro seeds which explode dealing Burgeon dmg after Yoimiya attacks it. I use Zhongli, Bennett sometimes with her as well
thanks for the rotation and team comp info, i love my yoi. i use her with yelan, kazuha and zhongli with 4pc shims. im still in the process of building my Yun Jin (C3). I'll use the mono pyro team when Yun is ready. (Yoi, Yun, Benny, Zhonggers)
Good review. I'll have to try the Beido / Fischl variant since I do have C6 on all three of those 4-stars now. Overall, I'm pretty underwhelmed with Yoimiya. I did manage to pull of a 36* run with my Yoimiya/Yelan/Benny/ZL team in the mix, but it was not easy. Yoimiya is just SOOO squishy. I like the challenge of keeping her alive, but OMG I've never had a character die so much. It's starting to feel like Elden Ring with her!!! Also, her DPS is just "okay" compared to Hu Tao. Where I thought she would shine was her range, but even that feels really lame for an archer. I want to be really far away, but if you get much beyond double melee distance, the shots just miss. She could have been a good character, but I still regret pulling her.
ive pre-farmed everything (except more 68 naku weed that i'll borrow in coop) + 200 wishes!! she's coming home and im super excited to test a bunch of team comps
I'm usually not trying to min-max, but to play my fav. characters in workable comps. For exploration, I'm currently running Yoimiya + Ayaka + Zhong + Kuki for mainly Melt. Since 3.0, I also run a lot Yoimiya + Keq + DMC + Kuki for Aggravate/Burning/Overload (I call that Team "Zap and Burn") No shield here, but I take the dodge if necessary and when overloading, stuff that targets me goes flying anyway. :P
just need to get lucky with Yun Jin and Yun Jin cons during Miya's banner Hamayumi level 90, and a bunch of artifacts farmed, and talents ready for 8/8/8. Only pulling for Thundering Pulse if i get Miya super early.
My most favorite Yoimiya Team: Fin Funnel Team (Yoimiya + Xingqiu + Yelan + Fischl). It's just so satisfying to see those missiles fly away to enemies. XD
I accidentally got her because I have a wishing addiction , she has helped me in the abyss ALOT. The team i use for her is , yoimiya(ofc) , bennet , xinqui and fishl. It works pretty well!
Tankfei, Yoimiya, Fishcl and Yunjin for my team. Sometimes will swap Fishcl for Xingqiu for vape. Tankfei is good for resonance, shield and heals, which Yoimiya definitely needs
Dendro makes the Overvape team even more versatile, as you can trigger Quicken, Hyperbloom and Burgeon when fighting Dendro enemies - like the new 12-3 chicken final boss.
Yoimiya, Fischl, Yelan, Yun Jin is my preferred overvape variation. High damage without taking away national comp units. Zhongli can replace fischl if you want/need shield and go standard vape team.
What actually works really well for a team to rotate with involving yoimiya is venti yelan yoimiya ganyu all bow team the rotation is ventis burst then ganyus then yelans then yoimiyas skill not burst bc it’s dmg is insane just stay as yoimiya after using her skill after their bursts ok trust me I’ve wiped really strong bosses out quickly it works someone make sure braxophone gets this
Every single video i watch makes me wanna pulll for her even if i didnt saved for her, i think i will change my mind and maybe give a try on Yoimiya banner, i hope it worth it and that i wont do the wrong choose..:')
Been maining Yoimiya as well and found her in overload teams to be my absolute favorite! No need to worry about her poor multi-target performance and with someone like Raiden and Yae in your team abyss is a complete joke. Also all these bosses that love to run away and waste time like the Ruin Serpent are dead in no time.
Can't wait to have her. I have enough for just about soft pity and if I get her, I'm gonna be pumped! I only ever use Hu Tao or my Kazuha/Bennett/Xiangling for Pyro output. Having a ranged Pyro character going into Sumeru will be great. But also if I don't get her, it's not the end of the world (I'll be sad lol) and I'll just get a guaranteed character from Sumeru
Ran her on Shime when she first dropped so I hardly bother with her burst. If it's there I pop it but if not, doesn't matter. Now I'm running her on the Chasm set and just using her with Yelan for vape dps. A fun team is a shield, Yelan, Fischl and Yoi. Very satisfying rain of arrow destruction.
Advice from Yoimiya main here. Under NO circumstances is Kazuha better than using a Shielder. Yes he does like a 20-30% increase in her damage AT MAX. but the pressure to dodge and be alive is too much. Yoimiya is character that one cycles a Ruin Grader but gets OHKOed by a Mitachurl. Shields are not preferred. THEY ARE COMPULSORY.
I use yoimiya with Kuki, Nahida, and Mona. Hamyumi R3, 4pc witches and off piece gladiators because it has a physical damage main stat. Idk why people always insist yoi needs a shield though she is weak for defense and hp pool, with an aggro setter like Monas stellaris tag mobs with nahida and use kuki grass ring, swap to yoi and skill, shes getting burgeon, vaporize and overloads left and right. I know i could probably build her better but i only have R1 rust for now and am working on yunjin.
Very helpful. I’m probably trying double hydro with Diona or Kazuha. Unfortunately I don’t have Zhongli at the moment. He’s definitely a must pull once he’s back. I started at 2.4 and didn’t know how good he was. Missed opportunity their.
I find Yunjin Bennett Zhongli the most reliable for the most damage in the most situations without the need to play perfectly. I have C6 Bennett and Yunjin
as f2p its hard to get all this cool teams. What do you guys think about yoimiya, noelle for shield, kuki for healing, and xingqu as support? this would be a vaporize team which could also play with overload/whatever the electro-hydro reaction is called.
I got her back to back (my first non mona 5 star) so ofc i had to build her. Ever since amber ive hated bow characters (plus im on mobile so charged attacks are hard), but shes become my main dps. I run a yoiymia (2pc crimson and shimonowa) (skyward harp), ningguang, bennett and diona.
I have a different Overvape team for Yoi, involving Thoma, Raiden, and XQ. It's a pretty versatile team, though I'd need to update their artifact sets. Interestingly enough, I get to use Yoi's ult even with Shimenawa on her.
I heard people were talking that Yoimiya may get another rerun on patch 3.8 I will try to get her and a Thundering Pulse Question: I really want to pair her with Mika but still wondering which team comp I should run them with. I’ve about 100 pulls for her on a 50/50! Hope to get her or loose it to keqing. I ended up skipping her last banner for hu Tao because I got tricked into not pulling because of the “meta” 🙄 hopefully I get her this time.
I’ve been using Xingqiu, Diona, and Yun Jin because the two Liyue kids are solid pairings and then Diona is shields and heals, but now I’m considering swapping Yun Jin for Candace once I manage to find enough cactus fruits to get that last passive. Too bad I’m probably not going to get c6 Candace anytime soon as f2p.
overall thx for the guide, but u can also play Yunjin+Zhongli and XQ/Yelan with Yoimiya Bennett C6 buffs only Sword,Claymore and Polearm Characters by 15%.

If I use yelan burst and hit pyro normal attacks with yoimiya. Whose elemental mastery will be considered for vaporize?????

Not F2P friendly but Yoimiya / C2 Jean / Bennett / C6 Yun Jin comp is also good (and fun) for Mono Pyro! It makes her a machine gun because of the attack speed buff by Yun Jean.

Ive built Yoimiya as a purely pyro dmg dealer. She has 4 piece witch of flames and R4 rust. She’s lvl 80 with all lvl 7 talents. I run her with Mona c1, Baizhu for elemental reactions and Kazuha for crowd control. With Mona and Baizhu interacting I get dendro seeds which explode dealing Burgeon dmg after Yoimiya attacks it. I use Zhongli, Bennett sometimes with her as well

thanks for the rotation and team comp info, i love my yoi. i use her with yelan, kazuha and zhongli with 4pc shims. im still in the process of building my Yun Jin (C3). I'll use the mono pyro team when Yun is ready. (Yoi, Yun, Benny, Zhonggers)

Good review. I'll have to try the Beido / Fischl variant since I do have C6 on all three of those 4-stars now. Overall, I'm pretty underwhelmed with Yoimiya. I did manage to pull of a 36* run with my Yoimiya/Yelan/Benny/ZL team in the mix, but it was not easy. Yoimiya is just SOOO squishy. I like the challenge of keeping her alive, but OMG I've never had a character die so much. It's starting to feel like Elden Ring with her!!! Also, her DPS is just "okay" compared to Hu Tao. Where I thought she would shine was her range, but even that feels really lame for an archer. I want to be really far away, but if you get much beyond double melee distance, the shots just miss. She could have been a good character, but I still regret pulling her.

For exploration, I'm currently running
Yoimiya + Ayaka + Zhong + Kuki for mainly Melt.
Since 3.0, I also run a lot
Yoimiya + Keq + DMC + Kuki for Aggravate/Burning/Overload (I call that Team "Zap and Burn")
No shield here, but I take the dodge if necessary and when overloading, stuff that targets me goes flying anyway. :P

You forgot Tankfei as the healer option for Yio. Powerful Shield: check, Pyro Resonance: check, Pyro particles: check
TTDS: check. She does kind of fit the bill quite well. Great way to get pyro resonance when Benny is on the other side of abyss.

Hamayumi level 90, and a bunch of artifacts farmed, and talents ready for 8/8/8. Only pulling for Thundering Pulse if i get Miya super early.
My most favorite Yoimiya Team: Fin Funnel Team (Yoimiya + Xingqiu + Yelan + Fischl). It's just so satisfying to see those missiles fly away to enemies. XD
I accidentally got her because I have a wishing addiction , she has helped me in the abyss ALOT. The team i use for her is , yoimiya(ofc) , bennet , xinqui and fishl. It works pretty well!
Tankfei, Yoimiya, Fishcl and Yunjin for my team. Sometimes will swap Fishcl for Xingqiu for vape. Tankfei is good for resonance, shield and heals, which Yoimiya definitely needs
Built my team with YoiYoi, XQ/Yelan, Bennet c6 and Tankfei. A shielder is really important to fully maximize Yoi's autos.

Dendro makes the Overvape team even more versatile, as you can trigger Quicken, Hyperbloom and Burgeon when fighting Dendro enemies - like the new 12-3 chicken final boss.
Yoimiya, Fischl, Yelan, Yun Jin is my preferred overvape variation. High damage without taking away national comp units. Zhongli can replace fischl if you want/need shield and go standard vape team.

What actually works really well for a team to rotate with involving yoimiya is venti yelan yoimiya ganyu all bow team the rotation is ventis burst then ganyus then yelans then yoimiyas skill not burst bc it’s dmg is insane just stay as yoimiya after using her skill after their bursts ok trust me I’ve wiped really strong bosses out quickly it works someone make sure braxophone gets this

Been maining Yoimiya as well and found her in overload teams to be my absolute favorite!
No need to worry about her poor multi-target performance and with someone like Raiden and Yae in your team abyss is a complete joke.
Also all these bosses that love to run away and waste time like the Ruin Serpent are dead in no time.

Can't wait to have her. I have enough for just about soft pity and if I get her, I'm gonna be pumped! I only ever use Hu Tao or my Kazuha/Bennett/Xiangling for Pyro output. Having a ranged Pyro character going into Sumeru will be great.
But also if I don't get her, it's not the end of the world (I'll be sad lol) and I'll just get a guaranteed character from Sumeru
Ran her on Shime when she first dropped so I hardly bother with her burst. If it's there I pop it but if not, doesn't matter. Now I'm running her on the Chasm set and just using her with Yelan for vape dps.
A fun team is a shield, Yelan, Fischl and Yoi. Very satisfying rain of arrow destruction.

Under NO circumstances is Kazuha better than using a Shielder. Yes he does like a 20-30% increase in her damage AT MAX. but the pressure to dodge and be alive is too much.
Yoimiya is character that one cycles a Ruin Grader but gets OHKOed by a Mitachurl. Shields are not preferred. THEY ARE COMPULSORY.
I use yoimiya with Kuki, Nahida, and Mona. Hamyumi R3, 4pc witches and off piece gladiators because it has a physical damage main stat. Idk why people always insist yoi needs a shield though she is weak for defense and hp pool, with an aggro setter like Monas stellaris tag mobs with nahida and use kuki grass ring, swap to yoi and skill, shes getting burgeon, vaporize and overloads left and right. I know i could probably build her better but i only have R1 rust for now and am working on yunjin.

I find Yunjin Bennett Zhongli the most reliable for the most damage in the most situations without the need to play perfectly. I have C6 Bennett and Yunjin

I got her back to back (my first non mona 5 star) so ofc i had to build her. Ever since amber ive hated bow characters (plus im on mobile so charged attacks are hard), but shes become my main dps. I run a yoiymia (2pc crimson and shimonowa) (skyward harp), ningguang, bennett and diona.
I have a different Overvape team for Yoi, involving Thoma, Raiden, and XQ. It's a pretty versatile team, though I'd need to update their artifact sets. Interestingly enough, I get to use Yoi's ult even with Shimenawa on her.

I’ve about 100 pulls for her on a 50/50! Hope to get her or loose it to keqing. I ended up skipping her last banner for hu Tao because I got tricked into not pulling because of the “meta” 🙄 hopefully I get her this time.

I’ve been using Xingqiu, Diona, and Yun Jin because the two Liyue kids are solid pairings and then Diona is shields and heals, but now I’m considering swapping Yun Jin for Candace once I manage to find enough cactus fruits to get that last passive. Too bad I’m probably not going to get c6 Candace anytime soon as f2p.

Hutao just feels so clunky to use without her c1. Some people say it's fine with jumping, but it still feels shit to play.
