I just came back from my second trip to Turkey. First trip 4 implants 2 trip gum contouring and 28 crowns. My teeth ARE AMAZING! I didnt go to this centre I went to Dentares in Antalya. They have an English representative who came with me and my dad to every appointment to make sure we understood everything. It cost £7000 for the procedure and I can positively say its the best decision we EVER made! Before I left the first time for Turkey I was in AGONY and my dentist told me a tooth at the top needed to be removed.... once i got to Turkey they told me that was rubbish and my bottom tooth was infected they removed it and my pain stopped there! One thing I would suggest because we did hear horror storys while in Turkey about different dentists there is DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH! Find people that have had work done and enquire at those places..... dont go into the procedures blind!! I've already booked my holiday for oct 2022 to go back for my yearly check up! Turkey Antalya is beautiful and also makes a wonderful holiday destination!

Another thing is that I also just got the dental credit for my teeth through CareCredit which won't even cover half of it! Do you all know if the dental office in Turkey excepts any kind of dental credit? I was going to use it along with cash but since it's another country I'm sure I'd probably have to use all cash.

Stumbled on your page from your sisterlock video. I didn't know you had dental work done until I saw this video. I think you actually picked the right shade because your teeth look so natural. Wow!
They did a nice job on these. The preps looked good, they gave you decent temps, and the final shape they went with are pretty natural looking. I was nervous when you said BL1 because teeth that white tend to look fake. The BL2 you chose is still super white but they actually suit you nicely. Just as a side note to anyone going out there to get crowns and veneers thinking you won't have to worry about cavities ever again....that is NOT the case. Please please please do not neglect your oral hygiene after your restorations are placed. In fact, you need to be even more vigilant to protect the surrounding gum and the tooth structures underneath from bacteria that will gather more easily around the crown margins. You don't want to pay all that money only to have pain one day and find out all the teeth under your crowns are no good and need to have them all extracted.

I am going to the same clinic in a couple of weeks if the Uk takes Turkey off the Red list for travel so I am hoping it does fingers crossed. I am having all my teeth done and the same teeth at the back as yours done with implants. I went to Uk dentist is was going to cost 30k in Turkey 5.5k massive difference, by the way, your teeth look amazing.
@@SharidaM It's funny as when I traveled the US as I drove from New York to Los Angles and everyone thought I was Australian which got really annoying after a while, hey shit happens lol. Anyway, everyone seemed to have good teeth probably because of insurance, etc. Me I'm from what you would call a ghetto estate so teeth weren't on the agenda, now I need a set like yours and as I have the cash they are getting done, so hopefully roll-on Turkey I have been to Antalya in past I have friends from there so no the place and I know what you mean about getting around, my friends had me on buses, etc was crazy haha but also cool. Oh definitely. I researched this for about three years before actually going. Email their team and review pricing on their website. They will send you a tentative plan with complete pricing. I probably exchanged about 50 emails over the years before taking my trip. The team is super patient and they will answer every single question you have.

Loved your vid, I had my final fitting today, must say I struggled with the pain, my pain threshold ain’t that great, the process of filling down the teeth was pain free, it’s everything thereafter which I struggled with, BUT overall I am HAPPY with my new smile :)
@@876me7 hi there, I LOVE my new smile , however I am still very much in pain, this is what most videos leave out, the actually process from filling down the teeth and the fitting is pain free, but the healing process (for me ) is very painful, it’s been a week since I have had my new smile. The work I had down was 11 zirconium on the top and 10 on the bottom, 2 implants and 1 bridge. I have to return in April to have the crowns fitted to the implants. I mean everyone is different but it weird that no one talks about the healing process!
@@keyzman364 Same experience here. 8 days later and the pain is frustrating. did 25 crowns, 3 implants. 3 extractions. should return for 3 crowns over the implants. Love my new smile. However, the process is not all super cool like all the videos try to make it seem. The shaving down of the teeth was crazy uncomfortable. long punishing process. Not painful but punishing. & those plastic temporaries were just annoying. Very sensitive for days. Could'nt eat properly with them. However, the part I though would've been to easiest day, the final day of installing the crowns... hell no!!! Turned out to be the toughest most uncomfortable. lots of corrections to get it right which I do appreciate. in the end, it all paid off. Perfect 10!!! Just waiting for this pain to disappear.. It's day 8 post makeover.
@@cliftonmorrison6149 same, plastics were a nightmare, I don’t get that people say they didn’t experience any problems eating I certainly did. And lost weight to prove it lol. I am currently on day 15 and now down to one painkiller a day, I tend to be pain free all day until around 1930, however if I do eat anything hard throughout the day this will trigger some pain as I guess the gums are still healing. Hopefully not much longer to go before we both are pain free and can really enjoy out new smiles. Ps. You got a crazy deal!! I didn’t go to DCT i went to Sevils Smiles located in Antalya.

@@876me7 my experience was nice, I won’t lie it was quite painful to get the crowns but I love the aesthetic. I am having a few issues with my back right side upper and lower molars…. They actually chipped. I planning to go back in August or September to have my implants placed. So hopefully then they address the issues with the two molars.
I’m so interested in this! Your teeth look amazing. What happens if you come home from turkey and you’re having even just a minor problem. Do you just go to any dentist and have them help you? Even just a simple adjustment maybe your bites not hitting right and you need to get adjusted. That’s my only concern
They make sure the bite is good before you depart. If you feel as though you need future adjustments a local dentist can fix it, but if they mess anything up in the process, I doubt if they would cover any repair to the dental work. Just an assumption... I would consult with your regular dentist on the matter and see what their policy is.

Thank you so much for this video. Is there any maintenance that you have to have done in the USA before going back to Turkey? What will the maintenance be after the whole process is complete?
Regular cleanings every six months at my dentist. Daily brushing, flossing / water pick and oral rinse is what I do for daily maintenance. They are treated like you regular teeth pretty much. I do wear a mouthguard at night to protect the crowns because I grind my teeth at night. They recommend I replace mouth guard every six months and that too is something I can get made with my regular dentist.
Did you have to get a visa to get into turkey as well or just use your passport? I’m Planning on going there also but only have a passport and I saw other vlogs where others said they had to apply for a visa to get into turkey.

I have no idea why. I have no issues with mine as they are all crowns. I also continue to practice good oral hygiene. Some people may get lazy in that department because their teeth "look" perfect.

I am devastated after selling everything i had to get all on 4 done in Turkey by medlife group. 16 /24 teeth broke and the company are just ignoring me. I now also have TMJ problems. They quoted me for zirconium and gave me ceramic and increased 'worse case scenario' by 1000 GBP.
What all did you do to prepare?! I'm going to Turkey soon for dental work too! I have my passport, visa, travel insurance for the trip, getting Covid tested b4, it's a lot😅 a video on that would be awesome!
I am actually working on a part 2 to address a lot of this! Yeah, the last minute COVID test was what had me on edge for sure lol. I got 2 done before leaving, just in case…and it was crazy expensive.

I booked through Orbitz.com. Its was around $200.00 UDS per night for our particular room, because we went at peak season. You can get a much lower rate going in the off season.
They look beautiful! Can you tell me if you had any basic dental work in the states to prepare for the veneers such as filling cavities etc? I’ve googled this but finding conflicting information. Do the crowns take care of any tooth decay/cavities? Thank you!
I didn’t get any pre work done here. The crown is placed on after decay is removed, just like a filling. But a crown is a longer term solution compared to a filling.

They still do their own X-Rays when you get there and I think they will be able to work with you on not having them. It is best to have them to get a good estimate. I would hate to be surprised by the price if you require a lot of additional work that can only be seen from Xray.

WOW...I am about to embark on my journey to a better smile after years of putting it off for one reason or another. AND the pricing here in the states is utterly ridiculous!!😮 I stumbled across Sharidas video by chance! OMG...I'm due to have some extractions in 2 days...perhaps I need to rethink this...😮😮...
Another thing is that I also just got the dental credit for my teeth through CareCredit which won't even cover half of it! Do you all know if the dental office in Turkey excepts any kind of dental credit? I was going to use it along with cash but since it's another country I'm sure I'd probably have to use all cash.

They did a nice job on these. The preps looked good, they gave you decent temps, and the final shape they went with are pretty natural looking. I was nervous when you said BL1 because teeth that white tend to look fake. The BL2 you chose is still super white but they actually suit you nicely. Just as a side note to anyone going out there to get crowns and veneers thinking you won't have to worry about cavities ever again....that is NOT the case. Please please please do not neglect your oral hygiene after your restorations are placed. In fact, you need to be even more vigilant to protect the surrounding gum and the tooth structures underneath from bacteria that will gather more easily around the crown margins. You don't want to pay all that money only to have pain one day and find out all the teeth under your crowns are no good and need to have them all extracted.

I am going to the same clinic in a couple of weeks if the Uk takes Turkey off the Red list for travel so I am hoping it does fingers crossed. I am having all my teeth done and the same teeth at the back as yours done with implants. I went to Uk dentist is was going to cost 30k in Turkey 5.5k massive difference, by the way, your teeth look amazing.

Oh definitely. I researched this for about three years before actually going. Email their team and review pricing on their website. They will send you a tentative plan with complete pricing. I probably exchanged about 50 emails over the years before taking my trip. The team is super patient and they will answer every single question you have.

Loved your vid, I had my final fitting today, must say I struggled with the pain, my pain threshold ain’t that great, the process of filling down the teeth was pain free, it’s everything thereafter which I struggled with, BUT overall I am HAPPY with my new smile :)

@@876me7 hi there, I LOVE my new smile , however I am still very much in pain, this is what most videos leave out, the actually process from filling down the teeth and the fitting is pain free, but the healing process (for me ) is very painful, it’s been a week since I have had my new smile.
The work I had down was 11 zirconium on the top and 10 on the bottom, 2 implants and 1 bridge.
I have to return in April to have the crowns fitted to the implants.
I mean everyone is different but it weird that no one talks about the healing process!
@@keyzman364 Same experience here. 8 days later and the pain is frustrating. did 25 crowns, 3 implants. 3 extractions. should return for 3 crowns over the implants. Love my new smile. However, the process is not all super cool like all the videos try to make it seem. The shaving down of the teeth was crazy uncomfortable. long punishing process. Not painful but punishing.
& those plastic temporaries were just annoying. Very sensitive for days. Could'nt eat properly with them.
However, the part I though would've been to easiest day, the final day of installing the crowns... hell no!!! Turned out to be the toughest most uncomfortable. lots of corrections to get it right which I do appreciate.
in the end, it all paid off. Perfect 10!!!
Just waiting for this pain to disappear.. It's day 8 post makeover.
@@cliftonmorrison6149 same, plastics were a nightmare, I don’t get that people say they didn’t experience any problems eating I certainly did. And lost weight to prove it lol. I am currently on day 15 and now down to one painkiller a day, I tend to be pain free all day until around 1930, however if I do eat anything hard throughout the day this will trigger some pain as I guess the gums are still healing. Hopefully not much longer to go before we both are pain free and can really enjoy out new smiles. Ps. You got a crazy deal!!

@@876me7 my experience was nice, I won’t lie it was quite painful to get the crowns but I love the aesthetic. I am having a few issues with my back right side upper and lower molars…. They actually chipped. I planning to go back in August or September to have my implants placed. So hopefully then they address the issues with the two molars.
I’m so interested in this! Your teeth look amazing. What happens if you come home from turkey and you’re having even just a minor problem. Do you just go to any dentist and have them help you? Even just a simple adjustment maybe your bites not hitting right and you need to get adjusted. That’s my only concern
They make sure the bite is good before you depart. If you feel as though you need future adjustments a local dentist can fix it, but if they mess anything up in the process, I doubt if they would cover any repair to the dental work. Just an assumption... I would consult with your regular dentist on the matter and see what their policy is.

Thank you so much for this video. Is there any maintenance that you have to have done in the USA before going back to Turkey? What will the maintenance be after the whole process is complete?
Regular cleanings every six months at my dentist. Daily brushing, flossing / water pick and oral rinse is what I do for daily maintenance. They are treated like you regular teeth pretty much. I do wear a mouthguard at night to protect the crowns because I grind my teeth at night. They recommend I replace mouth guard every six months and that too is something I can get made with my regular dentist.

I have no idea why. I have no issues with mine as they are all crowns. I also continue to practice good oral hygiene. Some people may get lazy in that department because their teeth "look" perfect.

I am devastated after selling everything i had to get all on 4 done in Turkey by medlife group. 16 /24 teeth broke and the company are just ignoring me. I now also have TMJ problems. They quoted me for zirconium and gave me ceramic and increased 'worse case scenario' by 1000 GBP.

I went to an ATM and used all Turkish Lira while getting around there. For the large dental payment I used my bank card.
What all did you do to prepare?! I'm going to Turkey soon for dental work too! I have my passport, visa, travel insurance for the trip, getting Covid tested b4, it's a lot😅 a video on that would be awesome!
I am actually working on a part 2 to address a lot of this! Yeah, the last minute COVID test was what had me on edge for sure lol. I got 2 done before leaving, just in case…and it was crazy expensive.

I booked through Orbitz.com. Its was around $200.00 UDS per night for our particular room, because we went at peak season. You can get a much lower rate going in the off season.

They look beautiful! Can you tell me if you had any basic dental work in the states to prepare for the veneers such as filling cavities etc? I’ve googled this but finding conflicting information. Do the crowns take care of any tooth decay/cavities? Thank you!
I didn’t get any pre work done here. The crown is placed on after decay is removed, just like a filling. But a crown is a longer term solution compared to a filling.
Hi Sharida ,you convinced me ,I want to go to Antalya where you was in 2 weeks ,I haven't booked the flight yet .I just quoted some clinics across Turkey and all of them was asked me to provide panoramic x-ray which is hard to do here in the UK.Did dental center asked you to come with X-ray from your country ? Also I want to ask if you paid all the procedure up front ,I mean and the ones that you have to go in 6 months to fix.Thank you and wish me Good Luck :))) You look amazing !!!
They still do their own X-Rays when you get there and I think they will be able to work with you on not having them. It is best to have them to get a good estimate. I would hate to be surprised by the price if you require a lot of additional work that can only be seen from Xray.

More discomfort and some sensitivity rather than pain. This wasn’t a painful process for me. Tomorrow the 1 year update video premieres at 9amET. 💞

If eating out once a day, that could work just depending on how expensive the restaurant is.
