I went there 3 weeks ago, I also witness the same delicious food and price is so friendly, highly highly recommended. I suggest you try the beef steak, lechon belly. I will visit there again.

Good choice for a Pinoy buffet. If you want to compare lechons, you should try the La Loma style lechon as well as the Cebu Lechon. Some sa the Cebu lechon is good but I personally orefer the ones in La Loma which is less salty ang crunchier. One of the notable brands of lechon I recommend is Elars. One of the best in my opinion. If you have the chance I suggest that you try our famous soups in the country namely, sinigang (pork, shrimp or fish), beef nilaga (bulalo )and the chicken tinola.

Wow, thank you so much for the recommendations for food. I'll be sure to look for those foods you mentioned. Also planning a trip to Cebu to try their lechon.

Authentic Callos dish uses a lot of tomato sauce, not tomato past. It also has chick peas and red bell pepper for that Spanish influence of the dish.

The food looks amazing and I hear the people of the Philippines are some of the warmest and welcoming in the world. Do you find that to be true?

As a RUclipsr, I truly felt the warmth and hospitality. Walking the streets and venturing out in the markets, people smiling and very friendly. Probably the best experience when filming.

Lechon Cebu. You should try it. The best lechon for me. I have it at least 4 times a month.

@@grifsfoodandtravelThat's how Kare Kare is supposed to be eaten. But since I'm allegic to shrimp, I use Patis or Fish Sauce instead.

I think the tripe dish you tried is callos. I've never had the Filipino version. The Spanish version of callos is delicious.
