Hi 👋 my son is 5.5 yrs old Suzuki student and very musical- he’s asking for a looper for Christmas (he loves to improvises) but unsure if these these would work on an 1/8 sized cello? Is there a looper recommended for beginners and do we really need an amp or a speaker/headphones would also be okay?
Hi Mariana! That is really awesome, I would recommend beginning using a Ditto Looper. You could use also use a speaker instead of an amp if you purchase a 1/4 inch to 1/8th stereo cable. Another option is using an iOS device and downloading the app LoopyHD: Looper instead of buying a loop pedal and cello pick-up. Feel free to email me at calebyangmusic@gmail.com if you need further assistance or would like to schedule an online consultation/lesson. Thanks!

I am a total beginner to looping and found this incredibly helpful!! Especially that you show where to plug everything in ❤❤❤
Thanks so much, glad it was helpful!!
Awesome intro, bro! Keep making it happen 🙏😊👍
I love my RC30, and recommend adding the FS6 dual footswitch - makes looping on the fly a lot easier.
Nice Caleb! More examples with you playing would be so motivating.
Thanks for the encouragement Antonio, will do!
This is awesome! I've been learning how to use loopers specifically for guitar!
That's very cool! Loop guitar sounds so nice :)
I'd also like to hear you play more!
Thanks!
Where do you buy the carbon fiber cello?
Hello Caleb!
Good sound. ! Will you please share name and make of pickup? Thanks in advance.
Thanks! It’s a Realist cello transducer 1/4 in plug RLSTC1
@@CalebYangMusic I can only find this for the Double Bass - would that be okay for the cello?
@@aliciabillyeald9893 You would need the cello realist or another cello pickup. The bass one wouldn't fit under the bridge, hope that helps!
thank u it is really helpful to me
thanks! glad it’s helpful :)
