it looks like the "scale" you used to measure weight only counts objects directly on it, it start to work after you removed the chompers and both bowsers were standing on it. (2:07) in fact, if that is the case it would be busted as bowser jr. was shown to be heavier. This would also mean the test with the mega mushroom is inconclusive as neither object touched the "scale". Hope you do a retest to debunk this theory, consider it my myth to you.
