Rotary Attachment Calibration: 100mm Square Test

- Here's a simple way to figure out and/or calibrate your laser rotary attachment settings such as steps per rotation and diameter.
Diameter is pretty constant number, it's the diameter of your main drive roller wheels on the rotary.
But steps/pulses per rotation will be different depending on your laser machine.
We use a simple 100mm square test. You can use inches instead of metric system, just make sure your marker drawn outline is in the same units and size as your square in the laser program.

Great video! This answers a lot of common questions.
Great video. Thank you for sharing all this wonderful info!
I can't tell you how many times I've typed out this explanation in the groups that I'm in. This video just saved my fingers a whole lot of future work ;) Thanks brother!
Awesome video!
Do you have a video like this for the grip? This is a great video but wasn't sure if the grip acts the same way?
Hi Karen. Yes, it's pretty much the same for the grip as well.
Great job
Why did you switch to adjusting the the diameter settings instead of just continuing to change the steps per rotation with a smaller amount eg. adding 500 or something? Wouldn't that be less confusing to just keep attaching the one value till you get it right or is there some good reason I'm missing by switching to adjusting the other figure instead?
