Absolutely outstanding. This is an awesome creation. No bling just basic essentials. A Wolf in Sheep's clothing.....200bhp. In a mini. That must make it a pocket rocket. I wouldn't change a thing. I imagine this would last forever. Pure genius. Well done guy's. Well done....... Also, thank you for taking your time and giving us a full informative video.
Can you do a video about all the costs of a V-tec swap? Im 16 and right now Im restoring my 91 Mini with my dad. A V-Tec would be a pretty nice upgrade later on, but I have no idea how much something like that costs.
I'm 17 and just helped my uncle do his swap on his 90, took us about a solid week and a half of labor (mostly tuning), but we were able to do it on a budget thanks to some decent salvage yards. Ended up only totalling about 2k, just gotta look around
Noodle 15 hey mate, is there any way I can get in touch with you? It would be really beneficial to talk to someone that has done the same as I am the same age looking to do the same job. Thanks
I absolutely love this build. Very similar to what I want to do, very simplistic. I would love to see more videos on the engine mods like cutting and welding the intake manifold, etc. I would like to see more on the wiring too. I'm going to be building a b20z from a 2001 honda crv. 1976 mini cooper s...I have the mini and the crv, still working on the body work before I buy the subframes and pull the engine. Great video!
I bought a mini minor body, always had the greatest respect for it...busy spraying it, so it don't look so untidy. Where can I go to let it be up and running. I am residing in Port Elizabeth.
Do you guys have a video showing how y’all cut the front end off and how to make it removable? Also awesome build, I definitely want to take my 89’ mini in that direction
Thanks. We don't have a video on that but there might be some build threads on the mini forums with some basic instructions. Seems like there's more than one way to do it.
So Many 'Honda Hater's'...but if You Put a V-YEC in 'Anything else'....Hater's 'LOVE IT'!!???......Still have My Rusty 'original' ''99 Civic Hatchback!!....Carry On..
I'd for sure change that steering wheel to a nice one.... rest is great... well, wheels hard to beat minilites, but other wise, well also the one piece grill is also nicer, but apart from all that... its super! One of the best cars ever made...most fun too... with that power must be amazing!
Great video - nice job showing this car off ..... plenty of really sharp details that make the car stand out! The setting is really nice too.... good editing. One suggestion: pay attention to 'uh' and 'um'...... it's a challenge to eliminate them from speaking, but it'll make your presentation even better than it already is (and it's already superb)..... looking forward to seeing more of these videos! Thank you
What brand are those gauges? I can't find anything that is an "all in one" set up that looks that clean with 2 gauges. Currently doing a B16 conversion myself.
Great job guys. I really like it. One question though. If the external fuel cap is fake, where do you put the fuel in? You didn't show that. Otherwise nice car and nice video. Thanks.
Can you do the same built with the original gearbox with straight cut gears and drop gears with sidedraft webbers 50mm with powerlock differential left hand drive.
@@Stevestonmotorco thank you! I am doing a swap with a b16b right now and I have a full engine and dash/interior harness with ecu... would you recommand to change or just take the one that I have and cut the things I dont need? (sorry for my english I live in quebec and I talk french)
That is the best car ever I am a little guy so that fits me I think they sell the Aston Mini Cooper shells in the UK for about nine thousand pounds which I don't know is u.s. dollars exchange but I really really do want to save my money up for I want to go with a Grateful Dead theme
How does that Minitec coil over suspension compare to std mini suspension? And does this have mini Tec coilover conversion in the rear? Some English Vtec subframes keep the original mini suspension vs minitec use coil overs.
We prefer standard mini suspension, hands down. You can keep standard suspension design with a d series conversion but the width of the b series motor almost requires the custom arms of the mini-tec kit. This one remains comes in the rear.
Stevestonmotorco thanks for the info. I think I’ll put my money into A series gearbox strengthening, rods and pistons with a 7 port head with the possibility of a specialist comments supercharger or 16v head if I ever fell I need more power in the future. Then I can have mini suspension and mini front end weight
@@Stevestonmotorco just wondering if there is any performance advantage ? there are the tilton and the Kad versions too , look like a pain the butt to fit
Every one deserves a Classic Mini!💐

Everything yall touch is cool

Aww the dream 😍, great job, love the editing too
Excellent build guys, really like the custom binnacle and painted dash rails. Looking forward to more builds👍
I really really really do want to start saving my money to make one of these
Looking wicked guys! Probably almost as fast as my Mayfair!
Hahaha...if we are lucky. Thanks dude!
Quite simply beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!

frame is 3k USD, rest is mostly labor

Really nice car!!!!! Sleepers are my favorite cars!!!!!!
Interested in the wiper motor relocation . I like a clean firewall but that wiper motor is always the wall wart
I love watching these builds. I would like to do a Honda swap one day to my mini.
love the video guys, appreciate all the little details you inform us on and help give us ideas for our cars keep up the good work
Wow! Now this would be nice to have
You are so cool for making this car

Great build, like the poly bushing on the flip front. But it looks like u forgot to install the hi/lows...
So neat and some great ideas. Love eject switch, it's great feature the whining girlfriend!!
Hi, loving the small details /changes and keeping the car subtle, bit of a sleeper hey 😁
Thanks!

well then!... didnt know you had these fancy videos....
Ah proper mini sweet
COOL project man!
Awesome project!! I miss more minutes driving the car, more like 1:07 to 1:09 :D

Thx for the feedback
Because fo the unique hood arrangement you didn't have to extend the length of the car at all? It is the original length?
This is super dope but I need a few more creature comforts lol
Bombic vidos, it's just super, philip bombing dude, SMCO best..
What brand are those gauges? I can't find anything that is an "all in one" set up that looks that clean with 2 gauges. Currently doing a B16 conversion myself.
Those are NVO.
Great job guys. I really like it. One question though. If the external fuel cap is fake, where do you put the fuel in? You didn't show that. Otherwise nice car and nice video. Thanks.
J Dillon for now you just open the boot and put it directly into the fuel cell. It will later have a filler neck installed
Really nice work..
All good. Would just not have mounted the reservoirs inside. Would keep them in the engine bay. Awesome work.
Grand job 😊👍
Alleycat wheels 👌
Supernice and clean build, love it!
Though I think I'd add a rollcage with that power. ^_^
Most definitely
Thanks!!
Cool build. I'm a bit soft though. Is there room for a heater with a VTEC swap like this?
Definitely.
Nice!
Hey guys,
Sweet build.
Wondering what is the brand of battery isolation switch you guys used in the boot?
Cheers,
Charlie
Whatever universal one was at the auto parts store
Good thing Honda engine
A question
Is the Gear Box changed? Honda?
What kind of GAUGE cable did you use
Thank you
said it was the gearbox from integra type r when speaking about engine
Who does the dials . What make are they . They are exactly what I'm looking for . Thanks
Please tell us!!!! 😢
Reveal guys !! Pleeeeeeeeease!!!!
Can you do the same built with the original gearbox with straight cut gears and drop gears with sidedraft webbers 50mm with powerlock differential left hand drive.
Will this fit my Honda
What size are the Wilwood master cyl pistons and calipers?
clean
Nice build guys. Just wondering if you swapped out the final drive? If so, what did you go for?
It's in the future plans
A simple good paint for the cylinder head cover? this nice red?
turbo that beast
Hi! What did you use for the engine and dash harness? Did you take the original acura that you cut?
Rywire engine harness, custom dash wiring

Iwantthis 😥🤩😎
I have been looking into buying a classic mini and I don’t know where or how to get one could I get some advice
search Mini Mania classifieds, that’s where I got mine
Love the car. Can it go down more on the back?
Not without compromising grip
The best
Hey i’m interested to do a similar build so what would it cost me to do so by you with everything besides the car?
Hey, feel free to send us an email at mail@stevestonmotorco.com
That valve cover needs a redo
I kind of like it the way it is. Each to their own though.
Super
Thanks
What was the cost of the build ?

What's the cost of a build like this?
hi, just wondering if this car can be launch using 2nd gear ?
You could launch it in fourth if you wanted to
Stevestonmotorco 😄😄 thanks for the reply. Cheers

Do I spot a bit of bump steer at 0:37? Is that property a compromise to fit the B series engine setup.
How do we get in touch around getting builds like this done through you guys?
Hey, feel free to shoot us an email mail@stevestonmotorco.com
wots up with the willwood brakes ? can't find any mini stuff on their website
They are universal calipers with mini specific mounting brackets

I'm in S.A how much would this build cost? Then ship it down to S.A?
What size is the exhaust piping?
An '89 mini or a '69 mini with '73 model tail lights?
Muito phodda!
Nice. Would have been able to get 0 to 100kmh time
how much does something like this cost to do? or aquire lol

What brand of Instruments??
This car has got a pretty mean “stance”.
You did say the external fuel filler was now fake. You didn't show where new fuel filler was.
Was that not what was in the trunk? In the previews?
What is the mileage with this build?
I want one of these since playing Grand turismo wanna trade i got a 2012 lifted jeep 34k miles automatic
what are the wheels and tires?
Mr sniffy .you maybe wanna lay of the charlie m8 .nice mini .
Could anyone tell me the song playing in the background ?
What is this color ?
how do you add gas?
Put it into the fuel cell
Front camber is off. It just doesn’t look right
Shawn Cooke
For mini has to be 1 degree negative.
HOW MUCH IS IT? HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU SELL IT FOR? A BUILD LIKE THIS ONE?
Please send us an email to talk more mail@stevestonmotorco.com
What's the song called at the begining please

From engineer stand point you put fuel tank and battery together plus you add a cut off switch for fuel, ummmmm very contradicting
