You quite right that the company narrative dudnt accurately represent V specifically such as his skills, intelligence and competativeness. He has continued to keep his inner child alive but has come into himself and is very comfortable with who he us and what he wants to do. This has allowed him during this solo period to show his genuise and creativity since he seems to have been able to take control of his life and its direction.
I have been trying and failing to listen to Winter Bear without crying since I first heard it. I just can't do it. It makes me think of my younger sister who passed away in 2006. V has actually said the inspiration for Winter Bear came from watching the movie “About Time” while he was in his hotel room while they were on a stop in Paris on tour. He said it was when Rachel McAdams’ character falls asleep and the main guy proposes to her. It makes sense that V’s walking backwards in the M/V because the movie that inspired him is a time travel movie. That also ties into looking to the left (or the past) - the guy kept going back in time .. Sorry, the singer who sang the chorus with Taehyung in Sweet Night is actually Matilda Mann, a Singer-Songwriter from London. She was credited. That's proof enough for me. Adora did contribute to several BTS songs as background vocal, but not for "Sweet Night." I am kind of sad for Matilda as the majority automatically assume it is Adora. I don't know if you watched V's interview on the Palette program with IU but it was the best interview I've seen from the boys in general, also because of the live performances because they were beautiful and a lot of his duality is visible. I don't think bighit didn't allow solo activity though.. bts always focus on group activities more and before they started solo activity, they even take ads for brand that only want to take them as a group instead of solo ad. They started solo ads after they decided to focus on solo activity. I think if I'm not mistaken this song of his was because of his love for his grandmother. V was very close to his grandmother because she raised him while his parents were working a lot of the time. And I've never heard anybody else say this but when it shows things going backwards and him walking backwards I almost feel like he's trying to go back in time to those moments that were comforting to him because of his grandmother. Hi! The one who's backing taehyungie's vocals in Sweet Night is our sister Adora! She's a former in-house producer in Big Hit and is now a solo artist. She also did several background vocals in some BTS songs. She was one of the back up singers during yoongi's dday encore con in seoul
Sorry, the singer who sang the chorus with Taehyung in Sweet Night is actually Matilda Mann, a Singer-Songwriter from London. She was credited. That's proof enough for me. Adora did contribute to several BTS songs as background vocal, but not for "Sweet Night." I am kind of sad for Matilda as the majority automatically assume it is Adora. She never protested, so I guess she is fine with that? 🙅 Peace. I don't mean any harm, but I just want to give credit to the right singer. ✌️

I don't know if you watched V's interview on the Palette program with IU but it was the best interview I've seen from the boys in general, also because of the live performances because they were beautiful and a lot of his duality is visible. I don't think bighit didn't allow solo activity though.. bts always focus on group activities more and before they started solo activity, they even take ads for brand that only want to take them as a group instead of solo ad. They started solo ads after they decided to focus on solo activity. Also tae acting for a drama ( at least at the time he was filming for hwarang) he got stressed a lot that it was hard for him mentally ( that's dumpling incident happened). Correct me if I'm wrong

The live version you are listening to was a live concert via internet and this Armys singing in the background was also done during that time in real time, I also noticed V' s voice and I believe it could be technically difficult to align his voice with Armys and causing the minor 'off sound" but I really enjoyed that concert of theirs because it was covid time and it must have very difficult for tem to perform to an empty place with just Armys on screen anyways love your reaction, Borahae 💜

ARMY probably wasnt synced because they were livestreaming through hundreds of monitors from their homes since it was an online concert during covid. They were all emotional around that time because they missed live perfomances and interacting with the fans as well as the song and ARMY singing it to him.

I think if I'm not mistaken this song of his was because of his love for his grandmother. V was very close to his grandmother because she raised him while his parents were working a lot of the time. And I've never heard anybody else say this but when it shows things going backwards and him walking backwards I almost feel like he's trying to go back in time to those moments that were comforting to him because of his grandmother. Winter bear is such a beautiful song. And as you can see his talent is quite ranging in many layers availability. And his vocal range in Stigma WOW. I truly loved his live performance of Singularity also. What an all-around talent he is. And you hit the nail on the head when you said he has a voice that is so soothing! This song Winter Bear, V made this song for his grandmother who passed away in September 3rd, 2016 when they have a concert in the Philippines. V misses his grandmother so much because she raised V half of his life for 14 yrs. So it’s very memorable for us all who raised by our grandmother. A sad song but a calming one. Healed my loneliness.
