We are going to have to try this. It seems super simple and another good way to use up some greens and such. Came over from Old Redding farm to check things out!

It's great raw but we also like to make grilled sandwiches with swiss cheese & super greens kraut on rye bread. I'm craving one now an can hardly wait until the next batch is done fermenting. :)

When we made this, I thought of the breakdown of spices in one of your videos... how black pepper helps to you to get the most out of turmeric!

I've never been brave enough to try okra--if I did, it would probably be fried. Your fermented super greens look like they'd be something worth trying. BTW--this is Nell, the wife.

Hi, Nell! I think we're going to try growing just a couple of okra plants this year so we can try it fried. I've never tried it that way, but I've heard that if you just roll it in flour, it makes a nice coating with the juice (slime) inside the okra. Sounds delightful, doesn't it? HA! -Jess

lol I don't think we have ever tried Okra at all but so many people seem so not into the texture that I am not racing out to give it a try

I've had pickled okra that rocked my world. I (Jess) thought the fermented okra was pretty good. But a couple of the okra were extra slimy and I think Dustin got one of those bad boys.

I’m with Dustin on that okra. No thank you. But I do like it in soup and fried. I’m gonna try those fermented greens.

The okra texture is a bit strange. 🤣 If you try the greens, you'll have to let us know what you think!

Never tried it fried. My grandma used to add it to all of her soups when I was growing up and I wasn't a fan. But, we're trying to expand our horizons. :)

I just put my brassica greens into a mason jar and add a lot of salt into the jar. Shake it for like a minute and put it into the fridge and wait for a week or two. Voila. NO work. LOL
