So I go down to Kishin to get used to using new tools, new set ups, and to learn basic defense against characters idk. It's been a life saver at times when I duck Lili or Slutlissa's ws mid high strings. I used to get killed by not understanding their momentum. Then realized the highs. Sometimes I can force the issue. I'll throw a low knowing it's relatively safe and they'll always go for that string punish. Study their instincts, study their reaction. Do they panic mash? Block and launch. Do they panic mash relatively safe moves? Back dash or SS then launch them. It's been tough but I'm getting used to this POS game. Not the biggest fan of T8 but Tekken is the only video game I have left and I use it to keep my brain sharp. I still don't use good juggles or HEAT effectively. Still sorta playing T7 but I'm getting used to it slowly. F this game. But I have no choice. Oh and I will say, your character really has a say on your rank. If you cheesed your way to GoD with Victor, Eddy or Lydia, it don't count. People cheese their way to the top when no one knows the match up then drop the character because they fear demotion bc they know they're not that good. I've seen do many scrubs with a 300k+ TP and when I check their profile it's always some obscure cheap character like Claudio, Eddy, Lydia, Victor. Seems tho Victor has the most loyal cheese fans. I've faced so many Tekken King / Emperor's that have zero fundamentals and just cheese with 4 moves. They can't punish, don't SS, no movement just non stop brain dead offense. Oh and yeah, Tekken Gods sometimes lack fundamentals too. Scrubs can't even break throws. This game is just way too scrub friendly.
Man, I just got promoted to Fujin as Kuma and never thought I’d get this far. Like my initial goal was Garyu but now here I am and I feel so accomplished since this is my first Tekken I’ve been taking seriously. I definitely gotta work on my defense and my movement, because when I play I don’t really side step. I usually opt for either a duck or a fake kbd since I can’t do it consistently enough to call it real 😂 Anyways, hopefully it’s only up from here but then again I’m perfectly content where I’m at now!
With kuma it doesn't count that you're fujin since most people in purple ranks are unfamiliar with his pressure, you're boosted until you go fuming with a normal charachter
I'm tekken king with lili on my channel and I'm stuck. I swear every match I get it an overpowered unbalanced top tier character. If it isn't drag, it's Bryan, it's jin, it's paul, it's king. And what's so annoying is you lose 2 games deranked back to bushin. It's a constant yo yo battle to get a hard start. It's frustrating as well with rage quitters -_-
@@SwipeGuy it can help if you have a play time strategy. I know you won't want to hear it but Bryan isn't unbalanced lol. He's regarded as one of the hardest characters to play which famously are Devil Jin, Kaz, Bryan and Steve. These 4 characters are stuck in tekken 7 almost or play as if it's still tekken 7. Bryan and steve are practically the same as tekkan 7 which is a massive negative considering people like Jin are 70% more powerful with 10% of the effort of tekken 7.

I've fought fighters with over 200K and up, which tells me that they've been in a higher rank than I am now, which makes it all the more challenging for you. If you want to obtain that rank you're yearning for, you've best take this seriously.
I get bored fighting people at might ruler unless the prowess is high. I'm "Battle Ruler" but Mighty Ruler with my Zafina and when I come across Bushin, my blood boils and I'm actually ready to play tekken. I guess because I'm really trying to learn Tekken, and not learn how to be the most aggressive mofo in the room. Especially as a Zafina player. I'm definitely seeing you must be defensive oriented with some super solid fundamentals. I'm learning that more than I was a Raven main.
Blue ranks are the worst. Gold ranks are very small pool of players. Gold ranks are genuinely good players. Blue ranks is no man's land, it's all gloves off meaning cheap spams etc.
Yes, I do. Expect the worst when it comes to tekken 8 online. If someone plugs on , don’t go into the next battle right away. It will hinder you if you do.

I wish I had the patience I use to for this game. I quit ranked due to the connection stability being so rough at times. Like I'm sure we've all been there where the connection feels laggy like it's not "lagging" but you feel the input delay and you're fighting an easy win but the easy win is kickin' your ass because of the lag you just can't punish~!!! From there man I like the ranks I like and I settled on TEKKEN KING. I just think the other ranks are ugly so I don't bother to achieve them and what I noticed during my climb to TEKKEN KING if anyone just wants that rank is well. . .know a general sense of punishment like what's negative and what's commonly used from there know your characters best punishers for those commonly used moves. After that just get a hang of side stepping and honestly. . .you can be pretty mediocre at the TEKKEN KING because many character carries give out at this point meaning this is as FAR as a true character carry can go without just straight up being broken. So you'll see some Alisa's, Azucena's and Hwo. Good video and honestly IDK if you wanna make a tilt video like how to keep those folks from losing their cool because at the TEKKEN KING rank many folks who rage quickly tend to demote the most. . .I had a friend lose his emp and go ALL the way down to Raijin.
I feel like you said so much without saying anything at all. Saying we gotta up our practice and learning without saying what to practice or learn. I heard punishment and counterhit launch combos but that alone isnt enough theres so much more to ranking up
You glazzed over the fact that at at Emporer is due to the low amount of players you end up fighting God of Destruction players the entire time.. It makes no sense even beating those players you barley get anything..
The game is very mentally draining; and the amount of toxicity you've had to endure to make it to the rank you're targeting is the reason folks hit their rank and stop. It's not worth subjecting yourself to it anymore. The way your opponent chooses to play is part of the experience too. Unfortunately when you give thirsty players mechanic they can abuse that dont reallyy require skill this is why you get... the Love/Hate relationship with the game is very strong.

This game is just way too scrub friendly.
lol scrub friendly it is🤣🤣💯💯
Man, I just got promoted to Fujin as Kuma and never thought I’d get this far.
Just keep the grind going , and don’t be afraid to go above and beyond 💯💯
If you feel like you have momentum keep pushing but if a loss feels like you drained from it, it’s ok to stop for a while to regain the mental focus, a lot of times we make the mistake of continuing to battle when we’re on losing streaks trying to fight our way out of it when then best thing to is just rest mentally 💯💯
As a Bushin, I’m almost okay staying here. I LOVE fighting blues, from the monkey Fujins to the tryhard Kishin and Bushins I’m almost okay staying at this rank, I beat the Fujins and Raijins like it’s nothin and I’m TERRIFIED of entering the gold ranks and getting destroyed non stop lol. Any advice?
Yes, stop being terrified and tackle those higher to further your growth 💯
I’m currently battle ruler law ready to get in the blue ranks but man I be running into Raijin barely Fujin the toxicity in the blue ranks against law is nasty lol
It’s the Nunchuku fear that’s making them play that way bro, also they’re afraid of law’s potential high low guessing mixups, use that against them bro💯
I’m in tenryu rn trying to get to mighty ruler with Leroy appreciate this dee
Anytime bro, I hope you get to mighty ruler and progress well💯💯
@@DeeallthewayG yo Dee, just wanted to let you know I made it to mighty ruler the day after you responded, and now I’m in flame ruler 🔥. Tryna keep going, this is my first tekken game I’ve ever tried to get good at

Raked isn’t so bad I’m stuck at Dominator lol this really the first time I’ve tried to take a tekken game serious so it’s a fun learning experience so far this video was very informative gives me a good idea on what I gotta improve
I’m glad that it’s helping you bro, if want to ask anything else let me know💯💯
@@DeeallthewayG I guess one tough thing for me is figuring out how to optimize my time playing the game I get like 2-3 hrs a day to hop on so I’m trying to figure out how much time I should spend in the lab vs in ranked
Well il be happy to play with you if u want, have a spar time to time.
I got demoted back from Fujin to battle ruler with Jun🤦♂️ Steve and Feng are my secondary characters but I'm only at garyu with both of them
You just have to keep pushing bro, progress will show eventually 💯💯
yo why is the voice audio on the upper rear right lol, its like your sitting behind me speaking into my ear from that side
I do that so the resonance can be low so my mic won’t pic up everything 💯💯
This scares the shit out of me lol.. i just ranked to Fujin lol
Good luck with those toxic blue ranks bro🤣🤣💯💯
@@DeeallthewayG Ahahah thanks man !!
@@DeeallthewayGupdate after 2 month now Bushin so close to my goal which is TK for now
[Breaking Character]
This is just my personal opinion, but I feel that your Tekken Prowess should also decrease when it comes to losing a demotion. I've fought fighters with over 200K and up, which tells me that they've been in a higher rank than I am now, which makes it all the more challenging for you.
If you want to obtain that rank you're yearning for, you've best take this seriously.
The Tekken prowess is so confusing to me, I still forget it’s even there half of the time.🤣🤣
I get bored fighting people at might ruler unless the prowess is high.
Bushin is technically still Blue ranks. If you look on the Rank Meter it’s blue. Ijs
Yes, and it’s the most annoying rank. So many people get stuck in that rank because of the mixture of turmoil
Gold ranks are toxic.
A lot of pluggers ,one and done players and boosters
They match the toxicity of the blue ranks 🤣🤣
Blue ranks are the worst. Gold ranks are very small pool of players. Gold ranks are genuinely good players. Blue ranks is no man's land, it's all gloves off meaning cheap spams etc.
Bro I forgot to sub but hey new sub
Thank you bro, I really appreciate it. I hope you enjoy the rest of the content 💯💯
my mental so bad. i get robbed by one rage art and i get tilted. any tips for staying locked in?
Yes, I do. Expect the worst when it comes to tekken 8 online. If someone plugs on , don’t go into the next battle right away. It will hinder you if you do.
Im at mighty quit ranked like a month ago, the stress not worth it.
I understand bro, rest is always a key factor sometimes 💯💯
@@DeeallthewayG my thing is ill lose to fast aggressive play, but do better against more methodical play styles.
The tactics I use on some higher blues dont work on some lower ranks.
Rank is so subjective it doesn’t matter I’ve beaten a Kishin earlier today and a Tekken emperor guess what I’m a Tenryu
Just made TK King ! I will be taking a break
I understand bro, I would take a break to that way you can rest mentally and get ready for another run.
@@DeeallthewayG man your absolutely right . These ranks are no joke , I’ve been swimming in the blue ranks for about 2 months
@@AstronauntSpace The blue ranks are the ultimate cesspool bro💯
I stayed in quick matches for like a month after getting Tekken King. Just got emperor yesterday. Had to get on a 9-fight win streak to get promoted, but I felt like I was ready after I learned I could hang with Tekken God players in quick matches. I'm gonna chill in quick matches again for a while before I make the run for TG
Yall I started over , I understand now to simply practice more , learn the match ups , it’s funny going through the ranks all over again ,
I wish I had the patience I use to for this game.
That's why loot boxes and battle pass are awesome it keeps your interest up 😂
@@Justlookingaround19 I guess fomo would do it but do you really want more fomo in TEKKEN?
I feel like you said so much without saying anything at all. Saying we gotta up our practice and learning without saying what to practice or learn. I heard punishment and counterhit launch combos but that alone isnt enough theres so much more to ranking up
@@guy543215 because that’s not the subject of the video I have another on training practice 💯💯
@@DeeallthewayG no hate or disrespect, just how I felt
Emporer is tough. Can't quite hit God.

@@scrolltestimonial that’s good bro, be methodical with it, stick to your pace it will work 💯💯
idk man rank is inflated with a bunch of Tekken King and Emperor that play like there Battle Ruler LOL 😂
The reason why it’s like that is because they took out the death matches. The death matches exposed those types of players.
📝
💯💯💯
Hit tekken God. I dont see a big difference between the 3 god ranks tbh
It honestly isn’t, if you make it to Tekken God Supreme there’s honestly no reason to really achieve God of Destruction 💯💯
@@DeeallthewayG Yea, TGS is just full of GoD's who are getting demoted and promoted constantly it seems
jdilla lookin fit
💯💯🔥🔥
I do agree, the game is very draining. That’s why I tell people to make sure you eat and have rest before playing Tekken 8 for extensive periods 💯💯
Is it just me or are there pro players in lower ranks
Yeah, some are. They like to use alternate accounts sometimes.
I can’t stand heat bursts and rage arts. Such cheap way to just rely on tanking hits for wins.
Especially the heat burst, the opponent pressing a button and practically stops time to reverse the situation is really demoralizing 💯💯
Out of all your videos you ever posted. None hit harder than the way you spoke about blue rank. I tell my friends blue rank is actually blue hell
@@DanteHikato Yes, the blue ranks are definitely a test of overall tolerance. Most frustrating and hindrance. The mental mindset plays a big part of getting out of the blue ranks 💯💯
Green and gold ranks shouldn’t even be in the video. On my first day I made it to Tenryu in my 1st day or 2 without practicing any other character once.
That means you were ready and had your basics down packed💯💯
