It amazes me that in most of these food markets, it's Vietnamese women operating them.
In my opinion, Vietnamese women are some of the most enterprising, most hardest working people in the world.

Women take central stage in Vietnam's society, and I can only applaud that.

The smooth sound and smell of the ocean is the best therapy. A place where hospitality is honored is Heaven.

I would take a beach holiday over mountains, any day. The sound of the waves is one of my favourite sounds

This hotel by itself is unremarkable though I do love that beach, and the sight of all those fishing boats. To me, the true highlight of this video was that outing to the market in a truly authentic Vietnamese town, and the cooking class that followed soon after.

Superbe endroit !
    Merci pour cette visite !

I love this charming place! Great that you got to visit an authentic Vietnamese market place and learn some local cooking techniques. Rice paper is very tricky! Love those squiggling eels at the market--eel is something I have yet to try. I guess Red was lounging on the inviting beach while you filmed this vid ;-) Loved the fishing boats, too. Oh, and I'll take the ocean over the mountains for the most part, but a mountain lake is a good thing.

Defenately the Beach. Being on the Ocean is the best way to spend a vacation. A good mixture of relaxing at the beach, wakeboarding/waterskiing and fitness and doing some excursions is a perfect mix for me.

I noticed that tone of green and orange color are used in most of the hotels you have featured in Vietnam, is there a reason behind that?

Thank you for the phenomenal film, felt like I had been there already! I have a partly disabled partner and wondered if the room wings have lifts and if in your opinion it would be a good place for someone who may need to use a stick to walk. Also, how is it getting to the hotel - how far from the nearest international airport? Thank you :)

    • @luxurytravelexpert
      @luxurytravelexpert  7 лет назад +1

Quy Nhon Airport, or Phu Cat Airport as it is known locally, is a 50-minute drive from the resort, and operates daily flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. You can also catch daily trains from Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, or take the regular bus service from Nha Trang. The hotel can arrange pick-up service from both the airport and the train station.

No red suitcase this trip but another amazing property ... the views were amazing. It looks like it would be very crowded if the hotel was busy though. These recent videos make me want to visit Vietnam.

I would rather be near the ocean.
That is a busy bay! Lots of boat activity. And the market obviously is thriving. So it's a good stable area. The rooms here are not as large or overly furnished. Still nicely done.

If you live in a G20 country this might be in reach, 6 Night stay for 2 in September will cost $655+.
You will have to work ~94 hrs, if you earn $7 an hour, to save up for your stay.
If you start in January, get a part time job where you can work just 3 hours each Saturday and you will be funded by August. Obviously, the cost of the room isn't the total cost of a vacation but you get the idea. Start a vacation fund and add a small amount on a regular basis, it could take years but you will fund your dream vacation. It might be the case you will end up not spending your vacation fund on a weeks entertainment because you have more important priorities.
This might truly be out of reach if you are among the working poor and do not live in a G20 country.

This is the least impressive resort in your Vietnam series but still a beautiful resort. Quy Nhon is a beautiful seaside small city, kinda sleepy. The bay view will be better if those fishing boats are not there....they obstruct the view.
