Swaggy you're indeed correct it's the St. William Grant Park more commonly known as Parade in the centre of downtown Kingston. William Grant was a Jamaican labour activist and the park is named in his honour. I think the statue you were seeing is that of National Hero Sir William Alexander Bustamante. He became Jamaica's first P.M. in 1962 when we gained independence from Great Britain
Never knew Jamaicans drive on the left side of the road,just like we do(Suriname🇸🇷)I remember crossing the road in St Maarten and forgetting to look to the left first.When i turned my head back i saw a driver waiting patiently for me to cross😀They don't even honk the horn like in other islands/countries. Wow, seeing Downtown brings back memories of school days back in the 80s, taking the bus from high school on Constant Spring Rd to Downtown to catch the bus to go cross the waters, Portmore, this is some over 30 years ago. When I went to Jamaica 5 years ago I went downtown with my cousin shopping and I had the best time, the people were so friendly and the things were so much cheaper than in the stores. And of course the guys vender made passes at me and what they say to you just made you crack up laughing, and my cousin was on the defense 😂😂😂😂😂 love Jamaica badd 🌴🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

I use to love going downtown as a young person in university and also when I was in my early twenties. I had an incident there from which I am still traumatized. I've tried going back but can't handle it at all. It's a wonderful place thought.

I used to go to Town with mum on a Saturday to Cornation Market the Chines Grocery Shops and some of the department Stores. That’s William Grant Park I think. But that’s from my 13 years memory bank. Used to walk through that park and pass ward theatre everyday to go school. St. Aloysius Primary to St George’s College. Wouldn’t trade that experience for anything!

Errol does is really take 2 years to process the jamaican citizenship for the wife or is it usually less? What if you have been married for a while, does that shave some of the processing time off? I'm planning to do this for my wife from here in toronto. I just got my jamaican citizenship this month

Whenever I’m in Ja I always make it my point of duty to go down town to the market I love the fact you can get loads of ground food provisions for such reasonable prices. Love the variety of fruits 🍇🍉🍌🍍🍏🍋and vegetables 🌽🥕🥬🥔🧄🍠🥥 that you can get also the atmosphere down there. It would be good to also let Swagy and the kids experience a ride on the YELLOW BUS OVER TO PORT ROYAL only cost $100 ja dollars the last time I went over there on the bus. I used to go to Town with mum on a Saturday to Cornation Market the Chines Grocery Shops and some of the department Stores. Every year Mum would take me and my siblings to Christmas Market, late Christmas Eve night. On my visitsh back to 🇯🇲 I use to look forward to going into Town with Mum. That’s William Grant Park I think. But that’s from my 13 years memory bank. Used to walk through that park and pass ward theatre everyday to go school. St. Aloysius Primary to St George’s College. Wouldn’t trade that experience for anything!

Errol does is really take 2 years to process the jamaican citizenship for the wife or is it usually less? What if you have been married for a while, does that shave some of the processing time off? I'm planning to do this for my wife from here in toronto. I just got my jamaican citizenship this month

Whenever I’m in Ja I always make it my point of duty to go down town to the market I love the fact you can get loads of ground food provisions for such reasonable prices. Love the variety of fruits 🍇🍉🍌🍍🍏🍋and vegetables 🌽🥕🥬🥔🧄🍠🥥 that you can get also the atmosphere down there.
It would be good to also let Swagy and the kids experience a ride on the YELLOW BUS OVER TO PORT ROYAL only cost $100 ja dollars the last time I went over there on the bus.
