Are you sure you want your transmission to run that cold? It would probably be better when your towing a heavy trailer though to keep the transmission from going way over 210 or 220. Test this when your towing in hot weather and post your results . My Avalanche gets way over 210 when I pull my 6k trailer up big grades when it over 90 . Tony

Yes sir. I plan on doing an update video once summer hits and the temps are in the 90s regularly to get an average. And towing some also. So far since the install my average is probably around 150 degrees. The hottest it’s been was 170 in some traffic and after getting out then back in a few minutes later because the coolant in the radiator heated up the trans fluid and it was about 65 degrees outside. In my opinion anything under 175 is where I want mine to be because once it hits over 200 it’ll start degrading the fluid faster which obviously degraded fluid doesn’t protect the parts as well. 150 to 170 seems to be a good range in my opinion. I’ll put another comment on here once I get the video update done 👍🏼

So you don’t have to add any transmission fluid after you do this ?

@@chris1k_ I think it was like 1/4 of a quart at most. I just ran it until it got to temperature then checked it. Wasn’t very low at all. Technically not low but I keep my fluid at the full mark.
