So read your Bible to find how both God all through the Bible and Jesus spoke about themselves. It gives us a way to speak about him in the material world, with the understanding that it will be different in heaven

Yep me too! We’re still hanging on to the DD days. My son watched it for a year and kept telling me to watch it and when I finally did I was hooked! It was so refreshing to watch godly men not having to act and still be funny! Thing was I knew Phil from a duck call video way before DD and my husband still can’t call ducks 😂
I listened to that Christmas album the other day, it’s my all time favorite Christmas album. So glad I bought it.

My Dad cut logs down here in SW Louisiana and during the winter work was slim. One Christmas all I got was a hunting coat, a headlight and a used 6volt battery, but it was one of the best Christmas’s ever. My parents were always honest and would let me know that money was short and I played my part in understanding and never once got upset about it. My children today don’t and won’t understand. I was born in 78’ and it’s a whole different world these days.

I don't know the Bible that well at all and selfishly I need some positive thoughts on how to appreciate the lord healing my lung cancer but still dealing with my brain mets. I feel him with me but I don't know what prayer to say to thank him and know the brain cancer will be gone too. All I can think of is to thank him for what I know he will do for me. I was told you shouldn't beg but you should be thankful so I just repeat thank you Jesus for being in my life and I feel truly blessed that he knows my name. During my first P.E.T scan I believe I heard him say my child. And my scan was no longer active malignancy. I knew he was with me. I wish I knew scripture to reciet. Thank you lord for all you do for my family.
