    Your neck facing attachment is so clear and simple I’m saving this video to follow for my future makes. I always have problems with facings this will save the day for me. Thank you for sharing.

    👋 Thank you 🙏 sooo easy to follow your instructions and viewing . I’m beginning sewing and had nearly given up couldn’t understand terminology 🤔. 🙏 from New Zealand

      Same when I began sewing too. I spent more time reading instruction than actually sewing. It does get easier I promise!

    Wild idea: I want to make something warm (probably wellsoft) to put on top of my regular chlothing.
    This pattern looks great, do you think I'd still work if I leghtened the sleeves, AND added a hood?

      I know light weight is recommended, but the pattern looks so simple...

    Greetings, thank you for sharing this sew along, what do you suggest for sewing this pattern without a serger? I do not have one, I do have a sewing machine though.

      Mini M.U.I. No worries!! I have many dresses that I sewed without a serger before I got one. Worn, washed so many times and still in perfect shape after 3-4 years. Try zig zagging along the edge that will prevent fraying.

      @@SewingLab Thank you! And do you mean zig zag sewing the edges on each peace before sewing the seams together, not after, is that correct?

    • @SewingLab
      @SewingLab  4 года назад +1

      Mini M.U.I. It really doesn’t matter whether you finish the raw edge before or after sewing! I personally always prefer finishing after sewing because sometimes the edges do get trimmed out a little bit during serging and I’d want my raw edges to match perfectly but that’s just me you can choose to do either way especially when you are zig zagging no edge will get cut so... !!
