If y'all have ever seen any of Katya's older IG lives, you know that she is incredibly intelligent, intuitive, a deep thinker, very compassionate, etc. I love hearing her rambles!!

I haven't seen her lives, but I catch snippets. She once said she was raised on HBO, and you get that Brian's parents were smart. They taught critical thinking, I'm guessing. Society hasn't quite caught up yet, lol. Getting there, still a few snags. Intellectual LGBT+ folks help the cause, if you will. Hope that doesn't sound pompous 😆
I agree! It makes me sad to think she feels it’s better that’s she’s constantly interrupted because her stories aren’t going anywhere. I want to hear her what she has to say! So many times she’s cut off mid sentence when she has some of the most thoughtful and compassionate commentary around. I love hearing her perspective and I sincerely hope she knows that she’s valued for that too.

I’m being totally serious, at some point years ago, Katya said there’s no such thing as wasted time, if you’re doing what you wanna do, you’re not wasting time. So when I feel like I wanna lay around, I didn’t waste my day, I just wanted to do nothing and that’s what I did! So if you guilt yourself over things like that, consider that maybe your self care is just tuning out for a day.

I know Katya is now mainly grouped with Trixie, but I think she can really hold her own. Her charisma, charm, and humor is not dependent on Trixie’s presence. Also, I am one of the people that wishes she was allowed to finish her thoughts from time to time.

I don’t think she does so much anymore, I think it was much worse years ago. Their definitely a duo and these days I see more of Katya doing things than Trixie (but maybe that’s my algorithm getting me?)
@@juli8288 I think it's moreso their comedic duo involves Trixie being the figurehead just a bit more than Katya, it works for them so of course that's how it played out, but I'd love to see more Katya on the forefront of a project that doesn't involve Trixie at all.
I think that's pretty much her choice, she knows she can work alone but working with Trixie is good for her.
But does Trixie have chemistry with everyone she works with? Does katya? Maybe They vibe so well because katya has a style that elevates everyone she’s with

I love blunt people and that's the main reason I love Katya and Trixie. People just stunned not knowing how to answer.

I’ve never seen such an obvious rip off of HEY QWEEN! Lol. Everything from the title of ur show, the set design, the coffee mug, the different segments of the show (flashback of looks/other queens) and even ur style of “humor/camp” here is totally different than ur personality in any of ur “exposed” interviews that I’ve watched for years. I’m sorry this just seems unoriginal & offensive to Jonny & Hey QWEEN.
idk much about hey qween, but those elements (set, coffee) are CLEARLY from late night tv

katya is the best person to almost workshop a format as she will literally react honestly, hope it finds a good path and continues this way and doesnt try to copy a format like ziwe, great first ep!

I agree, but does the legend that is Katya have to endure this level of cringe? I sincerely wanted this to be the best ever, but there are so many canned phrases and it just feels not good. I hate to post this, as well. Joseph is great, but the way the script was written just isn't it.

This hey qween meet unnnhhh format isn't working. Joseph does well with well researched interviews instead of adding late night comic elements. Besides they took a good interviewer and try to make him fun. Which is just not him and it shows. I was confused with this interview. Katya was being katya but more than the usual and Joseph's cutaway reaction makes it look like it took him by surprise.
They're probably doing this cause he's younger and cuter than the aged Johnny but Johnny has a natural sense of fun that people enjoy seeing him banter with the guests. Joseph should've had a different format. This shows good talent with bad format can ruin a potential.

katya truly sees the positivity and the best in everybody, cuz like, yeah roxxxy's verse wasnt too good but her wig and hairography during the performance was IMMACULATE

Here’s the thing, while I do so love, respect & appreciate Alaska, Katya is quintessential drag at its finest and she gets a crown from me 24/7. She was by far a richer more complex character much like Jinx but in a different way. Her older work pre RDR is Genius as well. 💫
YES. There is something magical about Katya and Jinx. They're very different, but they're both so compassionate, real, intelligent, complex. You can tell they've fought a lot of battles within themselves and I'm happy that they're both so successful.

I think Joseph does better in less formal and produced situations.
On his channel he just sits and talks with guests, which works amazing.
In here, he's being produced and it's not working as good as his own content.
He looks as a little bit uncomfortable and the chemistry, which he normally has with hus quests is not there.
And to be fair - I think the table is definitely not helping him.
it's like with Conan, when he got rid of the table - it became to feel more honest and equal.
