- Hey guys, Paddy here. I really hope you guys enjoy this video, part 2 of my Detectival experience will be out on Sunday!! Also, I’m sure you guys saw the title, Hoard!! Yes, we are in the process of reporting it and are talking to the organisers of detectival and will be in touch with the PAS soon.
I love metal detecting, it's the hobby that just keeps on giving. I love sharing my finds & love competing with my Dad, the cameraman. Gordon introduced us to this hobby & the three of us enjoyed some great times with light hearted banter but always delighted for each other’s successes. We sadly lost Gordon in July 2022 & he leaves a huge hole in our detecting adventures BUT we continue, hoping he is watching over us. I’m now using his trusty digging tool hoping it brings me some luck!

That was absolutely awesome watching this. Note to self - don't wear white t-shirts on rallies cuz it shows off my beer belly haha. Such a buzz that was finding those 3 Roman coins, so pleased I got you and your dad over to share the experience. We seem to share some great detecting adventures together at Detectival. Cracking video paddy cant wait for part 2 was great meeting you and your dad, im glad i drove the lads down there and when your turned up it really did turn our weekend around if it wasnt for your dad finding that 2nd roman i doubt we would of stayed on that field for to long after that. 😅
