    Thanks for solving my dilemma. You guys are great. When Camco is an option on Amazon, I go with your products. For example, I recently bought your water filter for my city (actually well) line and man, it changed my water completely to something I can now drink and cook with,

    It's important to note that the information in this video is specific to Camco regulators. My rig has the Deking auto-changeover regulator, and its pigtails are Male NPT connectors, not Male Inverted-flare connectors like in this video.

    I cant remove the hose from the regulator, it seems like it's sealed on there. What do I do?

    i hate the rubber hose pigtails as they fail every two years on my RV park tank to Rv. and i would lose a tank of propane
    i had to go to a copper pig tail because of this.

    I have a Camco59333 2 stage regulator. I just changed tanks Saturday. Opened the door Monday morning to smell heavy propane odor. Checked the regulator and found the small pinhole in the 1st stage is leaking and my new tank nearly empty. I have a new regulator (always have a spare) but I am curious what the hole is meant for and how my regulator failed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have the 2 stage auto change over value you have there. I just noticed I can hear propane coming out from around the black manual change over knob. If I wiggle it around it changes the amount of propane coming from around it. Is this a normal failure of this make and model? Also, my unit only had half propane supply to my stove top elements. Meaning at full settings on my range elements I could only get about half the old flame out of it. Must be related to an issue with the regulator?

    I have the Camco pigtail with male 1/4” male connector for my Cavagna 924N auto changeover regulator. I can’t get the threads to “catch”. What could be up?

    I ordered what I thought I needed according to this video because I have a changeover regulator, however when I took the hose off, it had a spring with a bb in it which I'm told is a "check valve" or "back check valve". I cannot find these on the site anywhere. Please advise.

    I need some advice on a propane soldering iron ,
    made by perkeo (German) .
    The regulator needs a connection or converter to work on a U.S. cylinder .or does it??
    Does it need maybe a p.o.l fitting or is there a cylinder I can get that these connections will work on?? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated

    • @CamcoManufacturing
      @CamcoManufacturing  6 лет назад

      Looking online these Propane soldering irons have connections of M10x1 LH or G3/8" LH - outlet M14x1 RH.
      None of our pigtails have these metric connection. Our pigtail connect to a US DOT propane cylinder with the standard ACME connection (CGA Connection 791) and the outlet end of the pigtail which is designed to connect to regulator has either a standard 1/4” Inverted Flare connection or a standard 1/4” NPT connection.

    My trailer has a 2 stage with auto changeover but has male NPT fittings. Am I missing the little flare fitting on the regulator side?

    • @gt93pony

      My trailer is the same way. What did you end up doing?

  • @jfpuse
    @jfpuse 5 лет назад

    My generator has an Acme connection end just like a typical BBQ does and the pigtails you have displayed in the video.
    How do I connect the generator (or BBQ) Acme connection end to the Outlet on the Auto-Changeover Two-Stage Regulator?
    It’s unclear what adaptor(s) exist or can be used that can couple the 3/8” Female NPT Outlet on the changeover regulator to the Acme end on my generator or BBQ.
    Any specific guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    • @CamcoManufacturing
      @CamcoManufacturing  5 лет назад

      You will need to use a pigtail to the regulator. The POL connection goes to the LP tank.

    • @jfpuse
      @jfpuse 5 лет назад

      I’m sorry, I don’t follow you. Appreciate your patience.
      I have two 20lb tanks connected to 2 pigtails, and those two pigtails are connected to the auto changeover regulator inlets.
      How do I connect the regulator outlet to my BBQ? - My BBQ has an Acme end that would normally go straight to the propane tank.

    Now I'm confused, haha. I took off my pigtale and it looks like the Male "NPT", but I have a two stage regulator. Are all two stage regulators male inverted flares?

    • @coralgardner9505
      @coralgardner9505 4 года назад

      I said that wrong. I have a regulator that has two pigtails (propane tanks). Does this mean it is an auto changeover regulator? If so is also always an inverted flare connection?

    • @camcoman6622
      @camcoman6622 4 года назад

      Only regulator that has inverted flare connection is the two-stage auto-changeover regulator. Normal two-stage regulators have NPT connections (3/8” NPT outlet and 1/4” NPT inlet)

    Camco, your pigtails suck. I've gone thru 2 sets in 3 years. The rubber gets hard and they leak at the crimp fitting going to the bottle or the fitting going to the tank. Lost $60 propane on the first set, thought it may be a fluke, replaced them, and i'll be damned if today, both tanks were empty when I checked.

      Hey Chris. We are sorry to hear about your struggles with the pigtails. From our knowledge, this is an uncommon occurrence. Please contact info@camco.net to work with a tech to determine possible causes.
