Air Royale is 100% THE BEST and most unique LTM in the game. No other mode introduced so much unique stuff like it did. And in the trailer, that plane froze because one of the unique weapons you could get for planes was the Ice Beam that froze the controls of whoever it hit. And then you had stuff like rockets, laser beams and your teammate on the wing just beaming people. So good. I think that was also the first time I got to use the Gold Infantry Rifle when it got changed to hitscan because that was around the time it happened.
Bro food fight, Unvaulted and air royale and endgame were goated LTMs and all of them were in season 8. I am still waiting till they bring at least one back Edit: Unvaulted did come back my fault
35:42 I think the reason why the island wasn’t like it was in the trailer was because the trailer is right after all the cubes came flying down and everything is still burning and all that So maybe the island was cleared up a bit and then we got the in game island we saw that season 😅
The story line might have gotten weird at some points, but we had some of the best live events and in game concerts. With that being said now that the person in charge of the story line ( Donald Mustard ) has officially retired from fortnite. I am scared and excited to see what will happen with the story line

Season 7 and 8 were the best, nothing can change my opinion, the christmas vibe of season 7 was amazing and the pirate theme in season 8 was also amazing, even the volcano side of the islans where there was all the pirate stuff, just perfect.
