    The elctrode patch can use infrared sensors on the ahort infrared low spectrum light to have the least amount of radiation i have been exposed to this spectrum for 20 years i think its okay if your exposure is least like hours or even a year

    Try to decode your temporal eeg info but you can transform the electrodes into infrared that way the eeg signal will reach the basi ganglia

    Incredible watching Indian engineers break through. just eye opening. well, I got a question about whether eeg input pins can be increased for a thorough eeg dataset construction. Afterall im astounded by this project looking forward.

      Thanks a lot Premansh for your kind words.
      We think with more EEG inputs you are talking about more number of channels.
      So BioAmp EXG Pill is a single channel biopotential amplifier but you can use multiple of them to make a multi channel EEG acquisition system.
      store.upsidedownlabs.tech/product/bioamp-exg-pill/
      We do provide a 6 channel Brain BioAmp Band or EEG band as well that can simultaneously record EEG data from the prefrontal cortex and visual cortex.

    This is a good video, but how to store this data as a numbers of stream in a csv or text file format for further analysis & classification? Please make a video on this.

      Thanks a lot!
      It's pretty easy. You just click the record button on the top right corner of Spike Recorder to record the data in .wav file and then you can convert it into any other format (.csv, .txt, etc) as per your project requriements.

    Hi, Great video!
    Sorry but I am new to all this. How accurate is the EEG signal being received and displayed? Do you need to filter out the signal using any additional components? Lastly, I have normally seen people having two reference electrodes, is just using one going to decrease the performance?
    Thank you.

    • @UpsideDownLabs
      @UpsideDownLabs  Год назад +2

      The EEG signal is of publication grade quality.
      You don't need any additional components to filter out the signal. Just make sure to disconnect the charger from your laptop and sit 5 metres away from any AC device for better signal acquisition.
      Let us know how it went for you ✨

      On the top right corner of Spike Recorder, there is a record button.

    what kind of electrodes are required? Dry or Gel based. Are electrodes reusable?Also what is the voltage range of output signal I will get when using bioamp candy?

    • @UpsideDownLabs
      @UpsideDownLabs  Год назад +1

      You can either use Gel electrodes which should be used only once or BioAmp Bands that have Dry electrodes which are washable and reusable.

    • @UpsideDownLabs
      @UpsideDownLabs  Год назад +1

      The output voltage swings around the VCC/2 so for 5V you'll see the voltage swing around 2.5V. the exact output voltage is dependent on EMG strength.

      Hey Rohit,
      You can check the link below for various Arduino Sketches.
      github.com/upsidedownlabs/BioAmp-EXG-Pill/tree/main/software
      You can directly flash the Arduino sketch and visualize the graphs on the serial plotter of Arduino IDE.
      If a particular code is not working then please check the steps below:
      1. Check the baud rate is set as 115200 on the serial plotter
      2. Input pin is set at A0 so make the connection accordingly
      If still the code does not work or the graph is not as per your expectation, then please email us at support@upsidedownlabs.tech with the images and demo video so that we can help you in a better way.

      BioAmp EXG Pill is a single channel biopotential sensor that can help you record the EEG signals but it totally depends on how you are using it for meditation or measuring parameters like attention, focus, concentration, etc.
      You can give it a try using BrainBay software.

      @@UpsideDownLabs I'm on the verge of finding a really affordable brain sensor that can translate brain signals into digital signals so that anyone with no or surface understanding of biomedical engineering or EEG can incorporate the brain waves in their project and we can advance the concept of BCI to a wider audience. Other EEG sensors are comparatively high. You guys are amazing, this startup and product is amazing. I will order the kit and try to figure out this EEG sensor with Arduino. Meanwhile, if you guys come up with something that can be used to control the microcontroller pins using this EEG please please do let everybody know. Thanks!
