Ordered this the same day I saw pre-orders go up, arrived last week. Really well put together, especially at the cost. No electronic issues, just one spot on a fret that needed to be sanded down just a hair for some light buzz(8th fret, 1st and 2nd string) I got it with the expectation that I'd replace the pickups, but I'm really blown away by what it came with.
@@HEYDJ For me the neck feels great! Although I love a satin feel on my necks, I think classic vibe got me used to having gloss. The playability is for me is marvelous! I feel like a true rockstar when I’m jamming🎶
I Have so much Tele Gas now, I just reviewed a Tease Tele that blew my socks off. I'm a rubbish player and still sounded good. I really want this model 😎🤙
I’m super interested in this as my second guitar - still very much a beginner with no need for a second, but hey, I want one. I got a Squier Tele 40th Anniversary edition last year (essentially a classic vibe) and I love it as a traditional spanky sounding Tele. I’d love to have something with humbuckers and I like that this guitar gives tonal options and just looks amazing. However, I’ve also always loved the looked of Squiers Contemporary Jaguar which I see you have played too. Do you have any recommendations on which would suit a beginner player better? I’m wondering if differences in scale length and neck radius will matter? Keep up the great work on the videos!
I have a catastrophic irrational attraction to this model. I totally do not need it, as I already have two Tele style HH Peaveys that I love, but this one just has all the design touches that I love!

Me too re pickups. I normally plan on replacing squier pickups but will keep this guitar as is.
Came back for the long-form vid. Thanks man. You're killing it! 🤘🏼😎
Thanks!
I bought the black one three weeks ago. It has quickly become my favorite guitar. My others are feeling neglected.
I ended up selling this one and got a black one instead. They have a Web only blue version I saw on the Fender website the tis really nice looking.
sweet guitar brother!
earned a new fan here!
Thank you
I bought the black one and its beautiful, I wish someone on youtube would do a video on the black one as the gold has been thriving
How are you liking the neck and overall playability?
I like it. It is easy to play. The back of the neck is gloss which is my only complaint about playability so far.

I'd definitely go black because gold hardware

I got two epiphone modern figured les Paul’s I’m gonna sale to get me one of these teles.
was about to ask if the new Paranormals were in your radar! Are you interested in the Telecaster SJ?
Most definitely
I can't wait to hear the jazzmaster neck pickup on the new paranormal tele.

Thank you. There are a lot of choices in Squiers that have two humbuckers.
I am working on a video now for a two humbucker affinity starcaster
@@guitarcollectorguy thanks! What would be your recommendation between the Troublemaker Tele and the Contemporary Jaguar?
Most definitely the troublemaker. Lighter guitar. Plays great.
Good Stuff!
It's on sale in fender for under 500. Now that sounded good
Why didn't you buy from Fender?
At the time I purchased it wasn't shipping from Fender.
Is the Troublemaker not meant to be a Tele/LP hybrid? No glued neck borrowed from the LP.
That is a great question. I think it is up to a point. I know the Fender version is also a bolt on neck as well.

Me too!
Same same
Were the fret ends sharp when you got it? Its always hit or miss.
No, it was actually good.
Would you be able to easily swap the pick guard with the larger 72 deluxe guard?
It would not align properly.
@@guitarcollectorguythanks! IMO, That guitar would be perfect with the 72 guard.

Wish the black version wasn’t $50 more, it seems kinda dumb that it is.
I thought the same thing.
There’s a $50 upcharge for the gold hardware. I like both guitars but the black looks super clean.
@@stonewallmedia4314na check Sweetwater, same price just ordered one
Not trying to be obnoxious, but isn’t this just a Les Paul?
Yep! Shaped like a Telecaster
If you buy this guitar and sell those jazzmaster knobs, you practically end up with a free guitar. Those knobs are overpriced AF😂
