    3:2 has way more pixels than 16:9 so that should be the reason you want to use 3:2. Other than that, Dope video! I want to try my hand at this sometime soon.

    • @djg5950
      @djg5950 4 года назад

      This is the only part that I didn't understand. What does the 3:2 versus 16:9 means ? I'm old school and understand photography and camera settings but not the newer (LOL ! over 25 yrs old now !) digital terms. Is it frame size ?

    • @unknown6390
      @unknown6390 2 года назад +1

      @@djg5950 Sorry you didnt get an answer in the past two years. It's the Aspect Ratio, the dimensions for your frame.

    • @djg5950
      @djg5950 2 года назад

      @@unknown6390 Still clueless about this but thanks for the answer. I can always learn. I'll have to rewatch the video and check what the aspect ratio is set to on my camera. This did come to my attention recently but still didn't know which one to set it to (or even which one it is set at, LOL !). I do understand the pixel part. Thanks for the help. It will sink in some day.

    • @djg5950
      @djg5950 2 года назад

      P.S. Just checked (my Sony) it is set to 3:2. So explains why my friend has been so surprised with the size of my images. It's a 25 mp camera. And I usually shoot in RAW and JPEG so I can upload images to FB and have the info (RAW) later if I learn how to edit and use Photoshop or another editing program. Changed to JPEG on the images that I shoot for stop motion because I don't want to do that much Photoshop work on the hundreds of images that it takes to make a stop motion.

    The only flaw to this video is when you said don’t do a big jump but let’s say you have your settings on 12 fps on your 10th picture or so you should make a big jump I learned this 4 months ago and when I did it I was able to have very smooth stop motions and im not done with it but that’s the only thing I think that can’t really be wrong but not right either it’s an option
