Yeah so there are some big benefits to doing it with photos one is you can sure at a much higher resolution and in RAW and the second is the time savings from having to go through and cut out all of the "bad parts" if you make sure to stay out of every shot there is really no work in post to turn it into a stop motion video

What's the difference between stop motion and make a video and cut out frames? Is because better quality image?
