Evan Bouchard went from a guy who we thought would be an okay top-4 d-man to a solid top-2 guy in a few short years. Bringing in Keith and Ekholm has really helped him flourish. And god damn do I love me a Bouch-Bomb
Bouch's slapper has always amazed me with its power! Like Jack and Louie said in this video, it reminds me so much of Al MacInnis, especially since Bouch also wears #2. Sure, he still has some issues with his defensive game, but I think Ekholm's presence has really helped improve that and I hope it will continue to improve going into this season. Go Oilers!!
bouchard looks like a 35 year old vet, crazy to think he was drafted in 2018 and didn't play more than 14 games in a season until 21/22 season dude is only 24 and looks 35
