You won't see a lot of old cars in Hong Kong as well. TST is the main tourist area.
Loving your HK series…I’m South African and visited HK for the first time in 2017. I’ve been back 5 times. Lived in Kowloon (ICON Hotel) amazing views of skyline…lived in Wan Chai, LKF (Lan Kwai Fong), Causeway Bay…I absolutely love HK…and each time I go I make a point of spending a few nights in Macau while I’m there.
Hi Chris, I enjoyed this vlog. I’ve visited Hong Kong about 30 times since 2004. Mainly travel for work but lots of pleasure too. Fabulous place. Probably my favourite destination and I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited over 45 countries in my time! 👍🌟✈️
Glad that you enjoyed Hong Kong. TST is one of our best areas in the city :) As a local, I enjoy going there from time to time. Don't be scared by the big brand stores outside of the mall, you can still access to casual brands, or just be stunned by the interior of the malls (especially the toilets! musea's toilets are the best!)
As a person born and raised in hong kong, I am proud I grew up in such an amazing and vibrant cities. I live near TST, so during the weekends, I would come down to the broadwalk near K11 and just admire the view. Man...Hong Kong will always be my favourite city, nobody can change my mind :) Enjoy your time here!

I am from Hong Kong. Thank you for arousing me how wonderful here is… Hk, my place of birth, is an energetic city. You will never feel bored here. Many explorations that you can find in this tiny place. But in the past few years, so many ppl emigrated from Hk. So many great places to visit like Stanley Market, the dinner junkets, the night markets, and the FOOD. I always used to stay at the Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, and now called the Artus K11 hotels. People from China, walk across from Shenzen to HK, this is the easiest and simplest crossing. This video brings back such fun memories, so thank you and I am so glad you are enjoying yourself and taking us with you. Keep up the great job.
Thanks for the video! Welcome to Hong Kong! Yes go check out the luxury cars here! The Peninsula Hotel got a whole fleet of Rolls Royce Phantoms in their iconic colour!
Been 3 times 11, 13, 18. Great city easy to get about. Stanley is lovely and for experiences the night time horse racing at happy valley is cool. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to.
When I was growing up (in Malaysia), the best food I remember that I loved was Malaysian-Cantonese (very related to Hong Kong cuisine). I love it!. Not just Dim Sum but so many others. :)
As jaded Hongkongers who haven't had a good 3 years during lockdown (it's JUST a city, insanely small & populated) plus a year-long protest in 2019, it's nice to see foreigners come & gush over our city. & yeah, I agree, our urban skyline is the BEST on this planet (the view from the Bulgari rooftop overlooking both the Bund & Pudong in Shanghai is the 2nd best).
Welcome to HK! I actually live 10 minutes away from TST so I guess can call myself a local of TST haha. This might disappoint you but it's becoming harder and harder to get street food from HK unfortunately as the government has been forcing street food vendors to move into a proper shop for hygienic reasons. Hau Fook Street and Haiphong Street Temporary Market are probably the only survivors in the TST area. It's also interesting that you pointed out that you saw a lot of "foreigners" when you were in front of Chungking Mansion! Chungking Mansion is known to be THE most multicultural place in the whole of Hong Kong as it houses a large number of South Asians and Africans. You also find other non-ethnic-Chinese communities here and there in Hong Kong (Koreans in TST, Nepalese in Jordan, Pakistani in Kwai Chung etc.) and a considerable amount of them was born and raised in Hong Kong so I wouldn't call them foreigners myself tbh. They also speak better English in TST than the rest of HK due to its proximity to the CBD (aka Central) and its location as the PRIME shopping area in HK (Canton Road for all the luxury brands!) but using English shouldn't be a big problem in HK as English-medium schools are still prominent in HK. Hope you've enjoyed your time in HK!

I lived in China, and my flight was from HK, so wanted to stay somewhere central for a day. I think 8pm, or 8:30 there is a light show on the skyline where you started the video. Cheers
Im a regular visitor to HK, my visits can last as long as a month, its my favourite place to visit and has been for over a decade. The food is amazing, there is great shopping to be done, and so much to see. I've even stayed a few times in the infamous Chungking Mansions, btw it isn't as bad as ppl make it out to be. I'll be back there early next year. I even write a blog where I share everything I do & see and give tips.
Glad you liked HongKong🎉🎉🎉I really wanted to visit Hong Kong again😢, it was my hometown but I moved to the UK 2 years ago😅 thanks for filming all these stunning views!
At 21:57 you shot the front of the iconic Chankung Mansion building that is a notorius hang out for cheap travellers staying in tiny rooms in hostels that charge around 30/50 US per night! The name of the road is Nathan road, you were on the Kowloon side of the bay.
A cheeky tip/recommendation: in shum sho po there's a youth hostel called Mei ho house and its built in a refurbished old style Hong Kong housing from pre 1980s. Don't worry tho its still spacious and even has a history museum (free entry but not open on Monday) personally I've had prices at 500HKD for a week and had 2 rooms (separate from each other) there's even a bathroom in the room, tv, ac and its only a stones throw from the markets and shops. It is located on a small hill so you don't hear anything traffic at night. Enjoy HK ppl! 😁
Enjoyed your video so much Bro! You are so chilled and I like the way you talked as you walked 😊❤ You have never missed anything while you walked and you frankly talked about how you felt of them, so nice

Really enjoyed your video Chris. I visited Hong Kong in 2018, watching your video is making me want to visit this beautiful city again.
The Hong Kong island skyline is impressive. I think it's at its most impressive at night.
Yes!!!! Such a beautiful place!
Welcome to Hong Kong this weekend to shows these remarkable places in China May of 2023❤❤❤
I am a Hongkonger, thanks for share video of my hometown, it is an amazing city, I miss people there.
Glad you enjoyed it! ❤️🇭🇰
Oh. You should go inside the K11 mall. Just enjoy the interior design. That is so beautiful.
Interesting place; however, as you stated, it reminds me so much like Manhattan with the high rises, upscale stores, and the hustle and bustle.
Yes definitely! A lot of similarities!
Beautiful work Chris keep doing you stay safe ❤🙏🏽💯
Glad you liked HongKong🎉🎉🎉I really wanted to visit Hong Kong again😢, it was my hometown but I moved to the UK 2 years ago😅

At 21:57 you shot the front of the iconic Chankung Mansion building that is a notorius hang out for cheap travellers staying in tiny rooms in hostels that charge around 30/50 US per night! The name of the road is Nathan road, you were on the Kowloon side of the bay.
I had no idea about that place! Could've been cool to visit!
Chris Hong Kong used to be British that’s why they all speak English they also drive on left hand side of road cheers from Australia
Yes!!! I learned that not long after filming this first video! Loved my time there! Sending love your way also brother! 🙏🏻
So excited for this series amazing video
Its going to be a good one!!!
I really love your videos man ❤
A cheeky tip/recommendation: in shum sho po there's a youth hostel called Mei ho house and its built in a refurbished old style Hong Kong housing from pre 1980s. 😁
Love the videos man. Your a good dude keep up the good work
Thanks so much bro! I appreciate that!
I like what I seen so far of Hong Kong, looks nice
Nós não vimos nenhum lixo nas ruas, e nenhuma barraca de lanche pelas calçadas. Isso que e um país limpo diferente daqui do Brazil 🇧🇷
You missed one of the best bakeries in Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui, called Bakehouse. Their egg tarts are the best in Hong Kong.
Enjoyed your video so much Bro! You are so chilled and I like the way you talked as you walked 😊❤ You have never missed anything while you walked and you frankly talked about how you felt of them, so nice
K11 Musea is a newly redeveloped mall selling high-end art and crafts in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Tsim Sha Tsui is not Victoria City (better known as Central).
Hi Chris, thanks for your videos, let's see more of Hong Kong
Keep up the great content Bro Chris
