What a delightful “promenade “! I have lived in and visited Paris about 25 times, and yet had never visited Le Marché des Enfants Rouges, nor been inside Les Archives. Thanks to your walk-along, now I feel that I have been there!
In 2018, I was walking along a beautiful street in Paris when I looked on the left side of the street and saw the wall and gigantic door of the Archives. Since it was about 8 pm, it was closed, of course. Still, I spent at least 20 minutes photographing it from the exterior, every last detail! I dreamed of going back and seeing the interior of Les Archives. When I went back after Covid, in 2022, it was too hot, and sometimes I could not leave my air conditioned hotel during the day until 6 pm! So, no visit to Les Archives. Now, my husband has been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer(spread to the bones). It doesn’t look like I’ll be getting back to Paris any time soon. Thank you again, therefore, for this lovely, slow walk through the 3e arrondissement(an arrondissement I tended to ignore in the past, visiting only the Picasso and Carnavalet museums - one of my favorites). What a treat your videos are! I can’t thank you enough.

What a rollercoaster of a comment, thanks for sharing. And sorry to hear about your husband. But I'm so glad to have given you the chance to peep inside this magical museum :) There are just so many surprises in this city, aren't there! Thanks for watching.

Great videos guys, I loved the Marais. We stayed on the Rue Vieille du Temple, lots of small cafes, museums and galleries all within easy walking distance.

I love Paris, and the Marais especially - the 4th, and the 3rd especially. Oliver, I'm with you on the Marché des Enfants Rouges and the Musée Picasso, for the reasons you give. I'm enjoying the series, but I want to know more about the 9th, the area of Pigalle.

I’ve done some pods and even videos about pigalle before. If you google “Pigalle and earful” it’ll all pop up
