@@ParagPatilChemEngg can we do simple matlab m-file linking with aspen instead of using the dynamic mode? For example write a custom model in matlab and make aspen to interact with the m file using user model unit of operation or similar. Sorry for late reply. But it must be due to bad-installation. You must reinstall it. Also, use genuine Aspen license. If you are using cracked, it most likely will fail. Thanks

Hi. Actually, I did try with 64 bit version. And I could not do it. Appropriate answers for your questions from my side are as follows: 1. I think you have to have 32 bit because Aspen Plus Dynamics is itself a 32 bit version. I tried with 64 bit but it did not work 2. If you are a student , then you may get the older version of MATLAB by registering on mathworks . Hii can you please help me to connect Aspen EDR with Matlab, I have V12 of EDR. I need to connect EDR with optimization code in Matlab, can you please let me know if that would be possible. I would be greatly obliged..
It will be great to try to see optimum geometry to minimize energy consumption ( or many other things). But I am not sure if we can connect Aspen EDR and MATLAB.
