WATCH ALL NIGHT was made for teens by Granada TV. I play(Robert Longden )a librarian who the heroine (Lucinda Bateman,) meets on a train. Her father is kidnapped ,(He's a scientist,) and I(as a librarian,) become involved in helping her unravel the mystery of his disappearance I drive a green Citreon/Fiat throughout but I couldn't drive so the technicians hauled me into a scene driving with a rope. So why on earth did they employ me. I was a young light comedian and my banter with Lucinda was entertaining. Enjoy.
Thanks for this Robert. I think it's one of the best shows on this channel
Thank you for the background info, Mr Longden! Loved your performances in this and the brilliant "Beiderbecke" trilogy!
Tom hanks. The Dan Brown books😅
What did she mean stoke on trent? Bent?
The beauty of RUclips as a platform
Old forgotten tv shows getting introduced to new audiences
With the stars of the show interacting with the new audience
Thank you SO much for this. I loved this (incredibly somehow 40 years ago) and have been looking for it ever since. You've made my year!
Posting the 7th and last episode this evening, it's a very dramatic finale to say the least! Glad you are enjoying it again, and thanks for your support.
Beautiful horse and stunning Triumph Stag.
If only they had put the Rover 3.5L engine in the Triumph Stag.
OMG I somehow found this channel!! I am thrilled!! Love anything from my good old days!!!
Groundbreaking in its way for making someone who would be described as "A Nerd", the hero.
Feels like they took some inspiration from The Lady Vanishes.
Dat opening a mite trauma inducing!
Children's telly of that era was a different beast!!
@@ClassicBritishTelly it really was! That is why it is so therapeutic that generous souls such as yourself share it
Not sure whether you're dyslexic or that's just how you text?
Happened to catch an episode of 'Worzel Gummidge' on the channel Talking Pictures the other day & before airing they recommended 'parental guidance' !!!
Mind you , come to think of it - on reflection Talking Pictures are always offering apologies...
Having watched two of seven episodes (of W.A.N) here's hoping the other five will soon appear, & yes I did read your synopsis 10/8/24 regarding uploads.
Next few days rest assured! It would be perverse to deliberately only put sections of a serial up! I watched ep 3 last night and it really is getting quite exciting!
@@ClassicBritishTelly It's happened to me before, where further episodes weren't forthcoming, I'll wait with anticipation. Thanks for your quick response.
Do the Special Service really get heavy and throw their weight around like this?
Wasnt Lucinda Bateson in Mental Mickey?
Yes, she was Haley Wilberforce, the daughter of the family!

She is also in Echoes Of Louisa ( on RUclips) from 1981.
She was quite the face on tv at the start of the 80s.
