Totally - you guys can describe the ride after 5 minutes like a sommelier discusses wine. Having ridden every version and combination of tires/rails/footpads, paying close attention while absolutely ripping through a trail, it's amazing what you guys pick up and can communicate back to us. So grateful for what you add to this sport!
I have been riding one of the first ADV pros around SF streets for the last 3 weeks. Have over 300 miles now and coming from an XR, this board is just another beast. GTs can't match this board on our huge hills; keeping up with the slower EUCs is no problem. First-gen plastics are of course a problem but Tony has already remedied this and is in the process of sending out replacements for most colors now. New orders will have updated plastics, 2nd generation motors, along with a variety of other small improvements. The repairability of this board is phenomenal. All screws are the same and bumpers interchangeable, getting into the controller and battery boxes can be done very quickly. The axle block design is ingenious and very solid. Stock tire is breaking in nicely, I ride at 9 psi @ 178lbs rider. Looking to grab a 7" Burris to throw on at some point. It isn't for tricks, it is for the safest and smoothest ride at speed on the trails or street.
@@deeznetz You're not crazy. 9 PSI for that weight is insanely low, even if you're riding over super rough trails or straight up brush. That's a skill and ankle strength issue. I'm 200lbs and I still only deflate to like 15 PSI when necessary. Also looking at the OC's account, he's gotta be like 20ish, where he's in the super-hyped phase of action sports and buying in to any owner who gives him attention. Been there done that when longboarding took off in the early 2010's and learned my lesson lol.

I did a range test on my standard adv and got 34 miles. And the last 10 miles I was riding heavy inclines and tall grass trying to drain the battery. Easily could have gotten upper mid 30’s.

I've had a Pint-X now for getting close to 2 years (arrived October or November 2021). Been thinking about a GT for a while, but it's been hard for me to want to support Future Motion with how generally anti-consumer and anti-right to repair they are as well as some issues and skimping on some quality parts (like the Pint-X charging connector) they pull off. The Floatwheel seems like a solid option, but my main worry is long-term durability as well as aftermarket support (tires, fenders, flight fins, rails, rail guards, bumpers, float plates, footpads, etc). It's a big investment for something you may have trouble getting parts for and customizing. I very briefly rode a GT at a motorcycle event and someone let me hop on. Honestly after being used to the Pint-X, I wasn't blown away. Seems a lot less maneuverable and really didn't seem a whole lot more powerful either, but I'd really need to spend a lot more time with it to draw and real opinion. But that brief ride at least reinforced that I really enjoy the Pint-X quite a bit.

@iancooper7320 One trick is to crouch down some as you go up grades - it'll naturally lean you forward a little, but keep you better balanced than top-heavy leaning forward. Just a bit of crouch, and you'll speed up your climb naturally. Good luck!
The review I was waiting for with results I kinda expected. It rides like a GT with a bigger motor because FW…borrowed… off the GT. It looks better than a GT because FW…….borrowed……off TFL styled rails. Kyle Hanson made one crumble first ride. No thanks, I’ll pass on the rip off and stick with the originators and local guys. Glad there’s something out now that will force FM down a better path though.
Idk, I think I’d rather VESC my XR since the BMS went out. Plus it’s set up with Bangs, Burris tire, Flight Fins, and I have the JWXR. Plus I rather wait for FW 2.0 when issues get discovered (by you guys among others!) and remedied.

I 200 lbs amd it seems like it’s a bit harder to get up to speed on trails and keep the momentum. The review on the float wheel was way rad. Can’t wait to see more content on them. Thanks fellas. Float on!!
@iancooper7320 One trick is to crouch down some as you go up grades - it'll naturally lean you forward a little, but keep you better balanced than top-heavy leaning forward. Just a bit of crouch, and you'll speed up your climb naturally. Good luck!
Yes and no depending on the section of the trail. Check out this video on body position and acceleration! ruclips.net/video/vXZTMp90G1U/видео.html
I assume your boards have the v2 motor changes?
Great review guys !! What was the camera-man riding? he was flying behind you !!
Julian is slow. Julian was riding an XR.

@@TheFloatLifeI'm sure Julian was doing his best
Great one!!!
You need that jump bump trick on instant replay 😮
The review I was waiting for with results I kinda expected. It rides like a GT with a bigger motor because FW…borrowed… off the GT. It looks better than a GT because FW…….borrowed……off TFL styled rails. Kyle Hanson made one crumble first ride.
No thanks, I’ll pass on the rip off and stick with the originators and local guys.
Glad there’s something out now that will force FM down a better path though.

Holy ....thats a crazy trick!
Torkque-ila, it makes them happy!!
I love Bodhi 😂 he starts combing out his beard and then puts the comb on the garbage
I seen that too ...
I say from now on they're called wheelboards. Seems like a good simple nontradmarked descriptive term just like skateboards? Right?
Idk, I think I’d rather VESC my XR since the BMS went out. Plus it’s set up with Bangs, Burris tire, Flight Fins, and I have the JWXR. Plus I rather wait for FW 2.0 when issues get discovered (by you guys among others!) and remedied.

*Future Motion need to register their name change, Past Motion* 😂
Best looking hands down would be the XR.
