I went to USC from 92-96. Between the riots after the Rodney King verdict and OJ's trial, it was an interesting time to live in Los Angeles. The white Bronco drove right past my dorm on that slow chase down the 10 freeway. But most memorable of all was an Easter celebration I attended after Nicole was murdered. My boyfriend at the time had family in Laguna Beach, and before we got to the house, he casually said, OJs kids will be there so don't act shocked. I thought he was joking. He wasn't. Nicole's sister, Denise, was sitting alone on a folding chair on the lawn and I took a seat next to her while Sydney and Justin, OJ's kids, played in the inflatable jumphouse next to us. At one point, Justin fell and started crying for his mom. It was heartbreaking.

What O.J. Simpson did on the night of 06/12/1994 cannot be undone . Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown are gone forever . But now that their killer is dead , at least the Goldmans and the Browns won’t have to occasionally see that murderer’s smug and grinning face , on his way to play golf somewhere . And for that matter , neither will we . Yes indeed , Caitlin Jenner , GOOD RIDDANCE .

Look, if you don’t respect this man for anything - please, please look at his athletic accomplishments. They are literally second to none. If you watched football at anytime during the 1970’s and 1980’s, you should clearly understand what an incredible football player he was…. Never forget that OJ Simpson was acquitted for the murder charges of both Nicole and Ron Goldman. Please, at least realize what an outstanding football player he has always been - and, again, never ever forget that he was fully acquitted for the murders he never committed… May O.J. Simpson R.I.P…,

@fete…. I’m with you on this- “gimme da ball I run fast” Far too much hero status is heaped on these sports figures. OJ is in the deepest depths of hell where his worthless ass belongs…

You do realize that even if we aren't talking about a murderer, we are talking about a man found guilty of Robbery with use of a deadly weapon, not an upstanding citizen? Like, even his robbery itself has a separate Wikipedia page, that's how high profile and clear cut it was.
Even if you want to talk sports: Neither the league, nor any of the teams he played, nor most high profile athletes offered condolences.

Great comment . Blood evidence actually going from the crime scene into his house , and maybe 2/3 of the mountain of evidence against him NOT introduced in court by a pair of stunningly incompetent attorneys working for the DA , namely Marcia Clark and Chris Darden , and this killer walked out of that courtroom a free man . But having called in ALL of his markers to beat a double murder rap , now Mr. Simpson couldn’t even pull off an armed robbery in a second rate Las Vegas hotel room without the judge throwing the book at him . I’m no fan of Trump loving Caitlin Jenner , but I’m on the same page with her on the death of the sinister Mr. O.J. Simpson : GOOD RIDDANCE!

@@kanelives2895 He could hold every record, and he’d still be a dead murderer.
Can’t even believe this would have to be a discussion. Glad he’s moved along.

Nothing will ever shadow that he was clearly one of the best running backs in the history of the NFL.

In the grand scheme of things, being a star running back is overshadowed by the fact that he was a piece of shit as a human being. Not just Nicole, either…
