Ear pain in left ear for weeks. Some days it was driving me crazy. Applied single drop of oil containing tea tree/olive oil twice a day for last 3 weeks. I've been having ear wax build up for a while now(usually involving a partial ear blockage for a couple days at a time) and I've (rather foolishly) been trying to pick it out with my fingers since it's so annoying but watching this video has helped me realize that there are better ways and that time is on my side so hopefully that will help me change my habits for the better. Plus the tips sound helpful if I ever feel the need for a better solution.
Trick or tip is to put a little olive oil in the cap of the olive oil bottle. Pour it all out. Then it will act as a "droplet". The cap will literally drip tiny drops of whats left from in the cap. Saves you a trip to the store. Also it does work!

Use coconuts oil it should be pure not peratute oil.coconut oil works use twice two 4 drops as u feel full.follow the same process as he told. Oil works

Had blockages since June 2019 and I can NOT get rid of it. I literally gave birth to my daughter half deaf. Can't hear conversations at all. I'm 23 btw so when I tell people I can't hear them they do not get it at all. Effects my balance (as you can imagine) and I get really bad pains. What doesn't help is the NHS doesn't offer help for wax removal and I've been told to get a referral I first have to pay for a private consultation and then roughly £35 per ear for wax removal (both are effected so £70) and then if there's no wax but continued issues I can then get help for a further investigation. Doesn't help that I have always suffered with tinnitus but now it has gotten worse to the point where I'm almost always hearing it and it's now accompanied with loud rhythmic thumping (which is most likely my blood). Nightmare. But I still class myself as lucky. I can still hear even if just a little. I'm grateful for that.

Tip: you don't have to let it fall out on your pillow... You can put a little bit of cotton wool in the pinna so that the wax falls out onto the cotton wool... That way you still get results.. you aren't shoving anything into your ear and you don't have a messy waxy pillow

The olive oil is good, but here’s a tip. Put around 2-3 drops of olive oil in your ear before you sleep. The next day, go to the bathroom and spray your ear with any sprayer. Then a load of earwax will come out. Your ear will feel cool, like cold cool. Yw :)

left ear isnt blocked all the time, more when i put pressure on it such as sleeping on my side. it blocks out most of the white noise when im trying to sleep which makes it harder to fall asleep
Yo I got the EXACT same problem only its in my right ear. I'll get up, ear will be blocked and straight up can't fall back asleep. I'm resloved to just getting my ears irrigated like every year at this point lol. Don't care how much it costs or how much it hurts lol

that's an allergic reaction. keep notice of what you ingested before you ears started itching. i get it a lot in the summer times in relation with hay fever. there are certain foods and drinks that give me similar reactions.

Then i had to visit a doc, and he gave an oil. but after the infection was ok, my parents always adviced me to use cotton buds in ear and those indian steel small objects with an extended end to force the wax to come out , But since i was very afraid to put anything in my ear , even ater getting the infection, i didn't clean my ears or cleaned my outer ears with cotton buds of johnson coz that's the most reputed brand of baby care in india. I got my ears impacted a few years back and went to a doctor for checkup. He gave ear drops to soften the hardened wax and was told to come back in a week iirc. Then he got the wax out by pouring in water and picking out the wax. Afterwards I could hear much clearer that loud noises made it hurt. 😅 So I put small cotton balls to lessen my hearing. Since then I have stopped using cotton buds and just use ear picker very carefully when I clean my ears.

I'm stating this from experience, im not a doctor. However when I do use earbuds I get alot of earwax. I have to do virtual school and wear earbuds almost 7 hours a day. I recently got tinnitus and clogged ears (which I never get because my ears form earwax slowly most of the time) and went to the doctor and she had to take out alot of the wax.
@OVERCOME72 they took a sharp spoon-like needle and just scooped out the wax. It was the only option because my ears were so clogged that nothing else worked. It hurt, but it definitely helped
I'm not a doctor but you buy the olive oil from the chemist /pharmacy it's a small bottle light in colour and a thinner consistency, I'm 70 years old when I was a child my dad would put the bottle in a cup of hot water to warm it then put on a teaspoon and pour in the ear twice a day for three days to loosen wax then when you bathed lay back so your ears were emerged for a short time and the wax came out.
I cleaned my ear out with peroxide and I was like alright I’m gonna lie down and let it sit for 5 minutes.. I get up and the sound gets worse, couldn’t hear at all. He says push down on the tragus, I do it and and it works like a miracle. Thanks brother

When I was little I remember, whenever I had blocks ears, my grandma used to warm up some mustard oil with garlic over the stove. She would then cool it enough so it doesn't hurt and put a few drops in my ears every now and then until I'm better.
It's been 44 days and i still can't hear on my left ear. Two days ago i started treating it with something my mom gave me lmao. Hope that it will get better before school starts. Anyway, now i'm used to it so much that when i listen to something i don't even realise that my ear isn't working.

I’ve had tinnitus for 12 months, and partial blocked ear. I woke up two days ago deaf in both ears. I went to the doctors and he said they’re full of wax. Using olive oil now I’ve got 70% heating in one ear.

Only my hubby would try to drops daily, and he says it's helped majorly, but its onlybeen a week so far...he says he doesn't want to stab anything anymore, does that mean it helped? Or should I be worried?😂😉🤔

Tinnitus. I get that like 5 times a day and i didn’t know it was because of this. I was under the impression that the universe was trying to contact me 😔
I have tinnitus because of all earwax built up and I can ignore it but once I’m in a room alone I acknowledge and it’s soo annoying

Had blockages since June 2019 and I can NOT get rid of it. I literally gave birth to my daughter half deaf. Can't hear conversations at all. I'm 23 btw so when I tell people I can't hear them they do not get it at all. Effects my balance (as you can imagine) and I get really bad pains. What doesn't help is the NHS doesn't offer help for wax removal and I've been told to get a referral I first have to pay for a private consultation and then roughly £35 per ear for wax removal (both are effected so £70) and then if there's no wax but continued issues I can then get help for a further investigation. Doesn't help that I have always suffered with tinnitus but now it has gotten worse to the point where I'm almost always hearing it and it's now accompanied with loud rhythmic thumping (which is most likely my blood). Nightmare. But I still class myself as lucky. I can still hear even if just a little. I'm grateful for that.

It's a slow process.. use hydrogen peroxide.. Got to urgent care or a free health clinic to get them checked

Hello I’m here with 1 and a half ears xD I naturally generate ear wax more than the average person. This is normal but my ears get blocked with wax max 4 times a year (possibly more idk) I really hate it cause it’s annoying. I hope after watching this video that it helps

So never had symptoms but I’ve struggled with hearing for many years (40 y/o). Put it down to lots of loud music in my 20s. Ear buds always came out clean so assumed no wax. Then my wife happened to look out of interest after we got oil drops for our beagle, and my right ear had think black gunk in it. Currently starting oil drops and ear buds are no more! Thank you!!

Tip: you don't have to let it fall out on your pillow... You can put a little bit of cotton wool in the pinna so that the wax falls out onto the cotton wool... That way you still get results.. you aren't shoving anything into your ear and you don't have a messy waxy pillow

The olive oil is good, but here’s a tip. Put around 2-3 drops of olive oil in your ear before you sleep. The next day, go to the bathroom and spray your ear with any sprayer. Then a load of earwax will come out. Your ear will feel cool, like cold cool. Yw :)

@@SuperHitman55 Put olive oil in your ear and tilt your head so it goes all the way in, the next day rub the side of your ear (open and close it) and the ear wax should be disintegrated enough for you to hear again

left ear isnt blocked all the time, more when i put pressure on it such as sleeping on my side. it blocks out most of the white noise when im trying to sleep which makes it harder to fall asleep
Yo I got the EXACT same problem only its in my right ear. I'll get up, ear will be blocked and straight up can't fall back asleep. I'm resloved to just getting my ears irrigated like every year at this point lol. Don't care how much it costs or how much it hurts lol

Hi, thank you for the information about ear wax. I have a question - why do I feel itching in my ears ? Is it because I have ear wax deep inside ? I'm always using cotton buds mostly because my ears itch and hardly ever see wax on it. And I used to have a lot of wax.
that's an allergic reaction. keep notice of what you ingested before you ears started itching. i get it a lot in the summer times in relation with hay fever. there are certain foods and drinks that give me similar reactions.
This might even be an ear fungus, especially if dead skin comes out. I had it and it sucked.
The only advantage of having a blocked ear is keeping the noise out while sleeping 😃

doctor, thank you for the advice, I as a 16 year old, am very afraid to put anything into my ear, Once i had an ear wax build up and terrible pain in the right ear. This was because i genuinely never cleaned my ear. Then i had to visit a doc, and he gave an oil. but after the infection was ok, my parents always adviced me to use cotton buds in ear and those indian steel small objects with an extended end to force the wax to come out , But since i was very afraid to put anything in my ear , even ater getting the infection, i didn't clean my ears or cleaned my outer ears with cotton buds of johnson coz that's the most reputed brand of baby care in india. But then i wanted tutorial to clean my ears and opened laptop, to come across your video. Thanks a lot. I hope there is no more build up of wax in my ear.

This is me, my doctor told me to get debrox and now I'm half deaf 🙃
I got my ears impacted a few years back and went to a doctor for checkup. He gave ear drops to soften the hardened wax and was told to come back in a week iirc. Then he got the wax out by pouring in water and picking out the wax. Afterwards I could hear much clearer that loud noises made it hurt. 😅 So I put small cotton balls to lessen my hearing. Since then I have stopped using cotton buds and just use ear picker very carefully when I clean my ears.

I'm stating this from experience, im not a doctor. However when I do use earbuds I get alot of earwax. I have to do virtual school and wear earbuds almost 7 hours a day. I recently got tinnitus and clogged ears (which I never get because my ears form earwax slowly most of the time) and went to the doctor and she had to take out alot of the wax.
Also How did they clean your ear? Just curious
@OVERCOME72 they took a sharp spoon-like needle and just scooped out the wax. It was the only option because my ears were so clogged that nothing else worked. It hurt, but it definitely helped

I'm not a doctor but you buy the olive oil from the chemist /pharmacy it's a small bottle light in colour and a thinner consistency, I'm 70 years old when I was a child my dad would put the bottle in a cup of hot water to warm it then put on a teaspoon and pour in the ear twice a day for three days to loosen wax then when you bathed lay back so your ears were emerged for a short time and the wax came out.

I cleaned my ear out with peroxide and I was like alright I’m gonna lie down and let it sit for 5 minutes.. I get up and the sound gets worse, couldn’t hear at all. He says push down on the tragus, I do it and and it works like a miracle. Thanks brother

try going to your local hospital!! Whenever my ear gets clogged I use ear drops than go to the hospital and they can help take the wax out for you :)

Hello Adam I just came across your video about ear wax and decide to give my solution,maybe can help other people ,I from UK and while before use to attend my local surgery ,after applying the olive oil for two to three weeks ,they would removed it with a machine working with warm water and vibration,since the pandemic some places stop doing it and others started charging a lot of money ,so I came up with a solution that really save’s me lots of money and works ,because the mechanics are the same as used before on the surgery,I bought a syringe with two rubber heads ,that squirt water in different directions,but didn’t work ,so now comes the Aladdin lamp ,an Oral mouth irrigator,placing the head of the syringe in one of the heads of the irrigator in the lowest speed and the wax started coming of and I was much relieved ,sorry for the long text ,hope this can help someone,it helped me

When I was little I remember, whenever I had blocks ears, my grandma used to warm up some mustard oil with garlic over the stove. She would then cool it enough so it doesn't hurt and put a few drops in my ears every now and then until I'm better.

I know I’m late but wouldn’t olive oil go rancid??? I’m kind of unsure about using vegetable oils.
