i just heard this song for the first time a few months ago and my reaction was similar ... WTF ... this song is so many songs and takes so many turns but they all make sense and it just flows
sorry if i tell you this ...but to really appreciate an Artist like Björk and understand her ,you gotta get rid of the ego-centric mentality ( meaning the cool faces on the side camera and such ) ,and really immerse yourseöf in Her World, for she' s speaking deep words here ... just a humble opinion , i Love Björks work
I recommend you react to All is Full of Love, the Music Video version. It's one of those rare perfect songs where the lyrics and melody land absolutely perfectly with the chord changes and harmony. The lyric "Love" always lands on the Tonic note (C) and it has a warm feeling that Bjork is trying to convey with her lyrics. She's a true virtuoso, and music genius.
She said she went to record the strange sounds added from water vents and geysers in Iceland.
