@@WeAreAllAstronauts Music genuinely is both a universal language and a deeply personal experience. You may not know me, but your songs are old friends; comforting, accepting, and a piece of my history. They've seen me through good times and bad. You may never know how many deeply-rooted emotional experiences they've become the soundtrack for, but that's ok. They do.
This year was one of the worst and hardest of my life, and those old friends were there for me through it all. This new friend, this new song, is the perfect piece to complete this year for me with hope and light.
Thank you for the music. It's changed my experience of being one soul on this planet while helping me realize that no matter how alone we may feel at times, we're all connected.
As long as I've got ears, I'll listen with joy and go with more peace than I had when I came.

Exactly how I think about music... old friends that were with me at certain times in my life that bundle up all the emotion and memories from that time. They bring longing and nostalgia when they're from good times, and a sense of peace and comfort when they're from difficult times that have passed.
Here's to old friends and new friends we've not met yet (and to 2021 being a better time and place).

Awesome to hear. Not sure how much I'd need to quit my day job and write music 24/7, how much you got? haha. On Bandcamp you can name your price for the music, so it's always great when people go above and beyond on there. But to be honest, just sharing the music and helping me get it to more people is really appreciated... especially when it gets in the hands of film makers and music editors that license the music... that's really the path to be able to make more music for you.
