Hi Frank. That was a great presentation. I love how you captured the parts getting together on the saw, like claymation almost. Very cool. And your narrative is dry and humorous... great stuff. Inspiring! Thanks so much. I learned a lot watching, and your shop is very cool.

Brilliant video in all aspects. Your presentation is clear and crisp; you don't spend a bunch of time on endless exposition, and there's no annoying music blaring through the whole thing. It's just a fantastic piece of work. The animation really seals it for me. Brilliant.
The bowl is stunning. Well done.
That shop is glorious. I love those big old tools! That disc sander!!! You've clearly put a lot of love into that place. It shows in both the shop and the work.

Another outstanding project! The editing is great, the woodworking is absolutely first class and the segmented design is always interesting without being pushy. Thanks for taking the time to share your work with us. I'm already looking forward to your next project.
Butcher block oil is mineral oil which isn't a drying oil and will eventually seep out of the wood. Ironically, it is also a medium for bacterial growth.

    Frank,
You don't know how bad I wish you were my next door neighbor. I would just sit quietly in the corner of your shop and absorb. Don't worry, I'm not moving to the Portland area, ever. Too much rain. Once again you have produced not only an outstanding work of art from wood but your video rivals anything I have ever seen. Thank you, I hope you continue for many, many years.

A wonderful creation Frank, well done. The issue you hard with the bowl not being held well in the Longworth Chuck may have been resolved by setting the buttons on the inside then expanding into the bowl. Naturally not applying too much pressure. It would be criminal to split the bowl after all of that work.
I’m sure that you have been told this a thousand times, but that workshop of yours is awesome. Is it some sort of business workshop with many people being in there normally is it .?. Either way it is one hell of a workshop.
I absolutely love the work you do editing the videos and animated them. I’m sure it must take you a very long time to do, but it is definitely worth it. I love your videos, keep them coming

Frank, the easy answer to larger hose clamps is in itself easy. Just get two of the largest size you can find and unscrew them. Then thread them together to make one large hose clamp. Hope this helps. Thanks for all the great wood working.

Always entertaining watching your videos. I've recently started turning segmented bowls. I'm always looking for new easier ways to do things so I wanted to share a tip I just came up with that will allow you to glue all of your rings at once with out them sliding around. Hot glue a small scrap of wood to the edge of each ring after you line up each ring before you apply glue. Saves me a ton of time and frustration. Keep up the amazing work.
